Actually, the buildings pictured exist in exactly that configuration, so we can see exactly where the explosion is... Pretty much it was City Hall blowing up. So either there are two monsters or the Monster carried the head inland... Or the Monster is the SoL and the explosion was the military blowing it up..

I like that cloverfield map, way i imagined path

I hate that game jacking douchetard. That map illustrates my theory of Grumpypants pursuing the slushomyspacegangbangcrew and J-Ho, did we ever confirm or deny the allegations that this movie opens with someone finding this(1-18-08.com trailer video) and is watching after the fact?

I think that the allegations remain just that, allegations and internet rumors.

Could the explosion in the city be from a ship carrying fuel?

Maybe the monster threw this into the city, like it did the SOL head, causing a huge explosion?
