This just made me think about the coincidence of the date of signup being exactly 1 year prior and never using the account for anything until the post. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for an employee or someone involved with youtube to create a account and edit the sign up date. At least someone able to create protected accounts should be able to do this.


Uh, no it says he joined Oct 19, 2007. Not 2006.

I'm standing by the fact that its fake

EDIT: Also, debating what's in the packages are pretty futile right now. I really dont think its a dead cat, in any case that would violate some laws. And no ARG i've ever seen has violated that large of a law before.

I really think we will just have to wait until someone picks up those packages.

 		It could be a stabbed up cat doll or some such, not necessarily a real cat.

Also, on the subject of date manipulation, if Jeremy Zawodny is connected, it wouldn't be unreasonable to suggest that the 2005 kidnapping comment was also manipulated for the sake of the game.

 		in all my years of lurking ARGs, i have never seen anything phycopathic come from a PM. It is supposed to be creepy and eerie, alot of the time, that is what makes ARGs so enthralling. Dont play into the game too much. Because thats exactly it, a game

9. Someone added "The Fourth video" as a link in the Wikipedia article. Note the capital F. The third one has not been added.

At this point, I am (and along with many other people are) sure this is an ARG. Lets look at the signs


    1. The high in-game interaction (ie the webcam and forum posts)
    2. The Youtube Time mag. cover and the Lonleygirl Wired cover on the wall in #001
    3. How this entire series of events started on a forum
    4. The collection of packages.
    5. The simple fact the videos are still there. If this was real, the police would have confiscated this things so fast.


Now, this ARG seems scary albeit amature, but I believe that is the point. The PM is trying to get across the sense that it is real. And obviously, hes doing a good job at it.

 		I just got an idea. Is there a payphone or a business near by this area? And does ANYONE speak Swedish? What we could do, is call up the truck stop, or the payphone close by, and ask someone if they could search that lot and ask if we dropped something. Such as..

"My car broke down a few days ago, and I believe I dropped some important items. One is in a bag, and another is close to a tree I believe."

Not sure if this could work, but it is worth a try

 		Hi, I found this wierd mystery game thing on another forum and I'm really interested on how's it all gonna go.

I noticed in the third video, that at the end, the camera zooms out of the screen showing that webcam and you can see the sides of the monitor, and they appear to be black. That, and you can hear sounds of that place which the webcam is showing, while the webcam site has no sound. So, I think that when that guy planted that package, the guy that was watching the webcam was also at the place, with a laptop or something like that. Not sure if that can be really that important, but someone said earlier that the third person in this "game" lives somewhere else than the other two and what I said kind of proves that wrong.

Ther is alot of companys ther. The building that the webacm is on, that company name is Sydsvenskan, they make newspaper.

I know exacly wher the the spot is, have been ther before Razz

All of the sound was from the guy and girl at the scene. The video of the webcam and computer was added later, keeping the original sound.

On another note, this obviously fake #004 lacks any of the finesse and cryptic clues of the other 3. We'll have to wait for the next video - the real #004.
