That sounds like the mail server to me.
Back to lucky charms?

For those of you that don't have toddlers...

This is from Blue's Clues. It's the song they sing when the mailbox jumps in to tell them there is mail. They don't usually add the A clue! A clue! part at the end. That's from a different part of the show, when they see a clue. So yeah, I'd say we have a clue on our hands.

Do I want this trip down memory lane?

On IntellIM driz wondered whether reggie had setup a user name/password for us to find for access.

Didn't he use his own name once in Acheron?

This would prevent Alecia from blocking us by just changing a password.

oh and for those who don't recall... Reggie is the ultimate person for software access, the classic hacker protagonist except that he is the best ever.... don't wonder how he would know stuff....he's just that good Smile

So we've had a potential clue with Lucky Charms, with blue diamonds, and Blue's Clues.

BTW, anyone tried 'pawprint'? I don't know why Alecia would pick it, but since that's what marks clues in Blue's Clues, its an idea.

The thing is, if Reggie operates under the same MO as he did during Acheron, he may have set up his own username/password to access the OE mailserver. That's what he did during Acheron, he used reggie/chessbrain, jbaxter/acheron (they don't work here, i already tried 'em Smile ), those let us see all the mail, if i recall.
The letter that "the (saucey) Phoenix" sent to Alecia was intercepted by Tobi. But I think that Reggie is better than Tobi...he probably found a way in, that accesses *all* the mail. Of course this is just spec on my part, but the username at OE's mail maybe something like....reggie or jbaxter or hexeditor. Just a late night thought, while i couldn't sleep.

sleepy, rambling,
driz

As stated by drizjr here...

Quote:
Baxter has a different status message. It says, "I just figured out blue's clues...".
I know there's a thread about these clues here, in the puzzle section.
But on second thought, maybe "blue" is the OE site itself; it's mostly blue in color, isn't it?... and the "clues" are the "hit list" (if that's what it is)... And Reggie is telling us that he's figured *them* out.

More Blue's Clues info for those of you not in a toddler tv time warp....

"I just figured out blue's clues..." Is the beginning of the song that they sing when they have figured out all three of Blue's Clues. As said before, each time a clue is found they yell, "A clue! A clue!" Once all three are found, the kids are supposed to sit in their thinking chair, combine all three clues (which they wrote down in there "handy dandy notebook") and figure out what Blue's Clues were trying to tell them.

So have we received three clues? Or is reggie referring to the hit list like drizjr suggested? And have I completely admitted that my life has grinded to a stop by admitting that I know way too much about Blue's Clues?

Very good point. It would make sense that we're supposed to have three clues to this is he's using Blue's Clues. But I doubt they'll be as obvious as Blue's actual clues. Smile

And of course knowing all about the show doesn't mean your life has ground to a halt. But if you admit you're regularly watching the Scooby Doo Afternoons...

AHA

As I was merrily updating the wiki , I came across this , when my eye spied......

Quote:
hexeditor00: Do you think she loves you?
mos_eisley_bartendar: Ah, there you are.
mos_eisley_bartendar: Who?
hexeditor00: You know who.
mos_eisley_bartendar: How did you get into my e-mail?
mos_eisley_bartendar: Or was it Alecia's you got into?
hexeditor00: I wouldn't touch her with your 10 foot pole. HOW DID HE KNOW ABOUT THIS!?

Well, outta the mouth of Mos.... it sounds as though Baxter *has* cracked into the OE mailserver. Smile

Yes, well, I'm not too sure if what comes out of the mouth of Mos is all that trustworthy Wink

By that I mean that at first, when we recieved the Agent Somme mail, he refused to admit it was his, and acted like it was the work of a hacker. Only later, when we solved the puzzle, the pressure became too much and he outed himself Very Happy
My guess would be that this accusation towards Reggie was just part of the charade.
