Posting Guidelines for the AWARE forums [UPDATED 4/14]

Hiya,

As of today, 4/14, AWARE has a new forum structure, meaning there are seperate forums for Interaction, Quick Reference, Puzzles and General. Please keep these forum-titles in mind when posting. The moderators will try and move posts into the right forum if they are misplaced, so if you are missing your post, please check the other forums too. I moved the "Ingame Websites" and "Dramatis Personae" threads to the Quick Reference forum.

Please try to clarify your posts as much as possible by keeping in mind the guidelines below:

* Use a topic header at all time. Possible headers are:

INFO - When posting info relevant to the game
QUESTION - When asking a question relevant to the game
SPEC - When posting speculation
PUZZLE - When creating a thread to discuss and solve a puzzle in
UPDATE - When posting an update to one of the ingame sites
CONTACT - When posting about interaction with in-game characters
META - When posting about the game itself, it's community or other related stuff
OFFTOPIC - Pretty self-explanatory Smile
NEW - When posting about a new in-game site or page

* Please put a date in the topic when posting an UPDATE or a CONTACT, and with the latter please also mention the name of the character(s) contacted.

Examples:

[UPDATE] Drexel's Blog, 4/8

[SPEC] WR is not one of the good guys?

[CONTACT] Marcus by AIM, 4/5

Thanks!

The AWARE Moderation Team

QUESTION Are these boards in-game?

I'm a little unclear about whether these boards are "in-game" or not. Do game characters come here? Do the PMs monitor them?

The boards are NOT "in-game"

Characters are not allowed to post here.

PMs are allowed to, and most certainly do, monitor these boards.

And, to be certain, although they monitor them, they cannot use any info from them, at least not directly, in-game.
