In response to Euchre's comments about the time, you mention that bars close at 2am and that she seems to have gotten sleep since then and sobered up. Bars in NYC actually do not close until 4am.. which is why I think some people have picked that as the starting point for when this video was posted (i.e. she has left a bar at 4 am).

As for the bar closing time in NYC - we have to consider that the PuppetMasters may not have even considered this. I think we may be the ones who are looking far more into details than they ever would consider.

As to the arm of that person in the video, you've all made excellent points about it. Innumerating the facts/speculations:
1. The vertically standing pillow is CONSPICUOUSLY placed and set there intentionally.
2. The arm of the person next to her is visible at the bottom of the pillow throughout the entire video.
3. The arm does not move the entire time until the end when the person is revealed.
4. The person's arm is laying on Jamie's thigh and the hand is on Jamie's waist.
5. The pillow was placed to hide this.
6. The person has been there the entire time, though Jamie acts as though the person just came in and flopped themself down on the bed next to her.
7. Jamie looked twice in that direction throughout the video.
8. If Jamie didn't even know who the person was, as she claimed, why was the person's arm and hand laying across her body in an intimate location and carefully covered by the pillow?
9. Jamie's reaction was not one of surprise or concern; but more of mild irritation and even a smile, and almost an offhanded "whatever!".
10. It would not be logical to assume that the last audible noise (which sounded like "Ge...") was Jamie saying "get out" or the like, because it is obvious that the person was there all along by her knowledge and consent, and the person did nothing to warrant being suddenly thrown out. In fact, the person was trying to sleep.

In the end, it seems very hard to figure out what's going on here. If the other person was fooling around with Jamie sexually (regardless of whether it was a guy or girl), why would she so blatantly allow the person to be seen like that. But on the other hand, why does this person have their entire arm and hand on Jamie's thigh and waist, AND, considering the intimacy of such a location of another person's arm, not to mention the fact they are both in the same BED together, how could Jamie not even know who the person is? Even if she was drunk out of her skull when she came home from the club, enough to not know what she was doing or who was with her, she was obviously sober enough when she made the video which she claims is being made "in the middle of the night" - and no one sobers up that fast, if she had indeed been drunk to the point of amnesia. Then again, her "whatever!" attitude to the person next to her seems to reflect innocense.

This may be over-analysing the whole thing, but there must be some reason for that person to be there and for all of that to have unfolded the way it did. It was too weird for it to have no meaning. SOMETHING fishy is going on here.

At this point, we've speculated about as much as we can, given the facts we have.

It could be a guy or a girl next to Jamie. There's really no way to tell. My gut feeling - an overall impression I get from watching the video - is that Jamie's telling the truth; it's a girl, it's random, she's just sharing the bed - it means nothing. Without more facts, all I got is that opinion.

And, same with the time-zone issue: jojo and W-three, you're right: there is some play in the time, could be anywhere between 4-6 a.m. (even considering it's NYC; they didn't have to close the bars down). Again, no way to tell. Personally, I'm liking Euchre's theory about Japan and Jamie leaving the message for Teddy to find when he wakes up - timing wise, it makes sense, and it doesn't require narrowing down the time to the specific hour. It's simple, it works. [But, damnit, I WANT Teddy to be on the Chuai station! ]

Ah, but I have seen many a woman find such a 'toy' to be entertaining to fidget with. Also women DO love malls, where they have Discovery stores and the like that would sell such a thing.
At this point I can believe she bought it for herself, or Teddy gave it to her - although there are some things that make the latter a reasonable speculation.

People are probably going to shoot me down on this, but I think that we're concentrating on the wrong parts of the video.
This is actually the closest thing I've seen to being a corporate humor ARG I've ever seen. In fact, I'm really only discounting it because it's not quite a game.
Heck, if you didn't already know that these people are only a few months away from a terrible death, it's hilarious. Consider:

Jamie video one-- she crawls up all sexy on the bed, and anyone who has read all the "maybe she made him a sex tape!" spec has to be going "oh. my. god"
And then she talks about a bladder infection! I don't know about you, but that's hilarious.
Rob and Beth are tragically funny. If the PMs weren't deliberatly setting out to have Rob obsess over Beth, they sure picked up on it. "I'll eat your pickle". Great stuff.
Should I even mention the Vernon Macdooble reviews? I wish I could write like that.

I think this video is just supposed to be funny. If this experience were a TV show, we'd be watching "friends," not "lost" and not "days of our lives".

If it were Days of our lives, it would turn out that the person in her bed is Rob's cousin AND Noriko's long lost daughter who, before having a sex change, was teddy's old boyfriend.
If it were Lost or a legit game, the person would have a blog, which would lead us to puzzles, which would lead us to other fascinating things.

But nope. It's just funny.

Just my opinion, of course, but I doubt this game will ever result in a major break, especially not one that reveals something about the movie.

All that said, I'm happy for backstory.
