That movie comes strongly to mind every time I consider the plausibility of an element of things in any movie.
Aliens for whom water is a totally deadly poison or corrosive want to take over a planet that's mostly water? Yeah, you could remove the water but it's a HUGE reach.

This movie was VERY much like Signs! ... they came in through the upstairs window scene... one gets locked in a room scene ... the "last meal of the doomed" scene... alien on the roof scene.... one of the parents is dead..... the big brother is in charge... it all takes place on a farm/ranch... the cast does an outside run-around of the house... the little girl makes the mysterious predictions.... the obligatory power outage...

It wasn't the worst thing ever unlike Signs, which is the reason why all babies cry. M Night Shamalamadingdong had yet another stinker with that movie.

Sad scared the crap outta ME
especially the scene where they saw the alien
on the video at the kid's birthday party.
When I saw it, I reacted exactly the same way
that the guy did in the movie.

as horrible as i thought unbreakable was, i actually really enjoyed Signs and The Sixth Sense.

The Village ( even though bashed apart by critics and fans alike ) was also a very interesting movie. I dont think this movie was the best movie I've ever seen but it was deffinatly worth a look. I think that people hate it because it isnt scary but it did offer a more realistic view of "monsters" and the like.

As you all can probably tell, im a huge movie buff lol

actually what I got from the movie was that they took in water (or some other essential compound) through their food and were here looking for said food (us). The reason I believe that is some background dialogue that you here from a radio saying they were here to harvest us.

My favorite part was the red light and the shadow to see the alien turn the corner and everyone freaks out. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?"

That movie took Cheese to a whole new level. The cut-ins with the commentaries from a sheriff, from a Musician?? Lame-o-riffic...

The little girl was really bad, the mom needs to have someone's foot broken off in her butt, the blonde mother whatever, STFU... I just wanted to backhand her every time she opened her mouth....

every scene was totally predictable; like you didn't know the moment he put the bookshelf in front of the door that they'd find it moved later on... The acting...::suppresses a gag:: All around cheese-fest.

I thought Signs bit the big one (fromage). I thought unbreakable was fifty times better. Never saw the village, it looked Cheese-tastic too. I liked sixth sense & unbreakable. That's it.

OMGsh I LOVED the Village!!! Movies with surprise endings always get 5 stars in my book.

BTW... regarding the ALIEN ABDUCTION video....

It MAY have seemed weird that they just stuck those commentaries in the middle of the movie, BUT that's not what you are seeing. This is a made-for-TV movie. At each place where the screen fades to black, commercials were inserted there. When the movie came back on, it was prefaced with an interview to lead the viewer into the next scene. It would have made total sense if viewed on TV with commercials. It wasn't the placement of the interviews, but the bad acting of the interviewers, that spoiled it.

However, I think that when it was released to videos (i.e. without commercials) it should have been edited so that all of the interviews appeared at the beginning. It would have made a good introduction if placed at the beginning. It would have been useless and unbelievable if placed at the ending because the "zoom in" of the camcorder at the very end gave it away that this was a movie and not a real home video of an abduction.

You and me alone buddy, i think were the only ones.
A movie not to watch, which many of you may have seen. Faces of death. I have a good stomach, I rarely throw up(simalar to jerry seinfield) But when you come to the 30:00 minute mark of a movie, and the title is the slaughter house and you just ate an entire chinese meal, things may start to fly. Its not all real, but most is.
