[META]What if this winds up like the Blair Witch?

Just a thought....

I doubt it's the case, but I would be royally P.O.'d if this movie winds up like the Blair Witch. They go through almost the whole movie from the point of view of a camcorder, following the people around. We never even get to see the monster. It wasn't this big, but I remember there was a lot of hype before the Blair Witch came out too.

Hello and welcome to the forums Smile

The blair witch project theory has already been suggested before, but it's still a grey area. While we know the trailer was filmed with it's style we have seen reports that the movie will be unlike it/like it/ half and half.

It's an interesting theory, but until we hear from the producers we can't say much for sure Confused

The Blair Witch movie made me almost demand a refund, it wasn't scary or entertaining. I laughed through the entire thing, lol, maybe it was a little entertaining but I've seen Sci-Fi movies that are better.

i think it'll probably be the most intimate monster movie ever made. but totally blair witch, documentary-style filming the whole time? unlikely id say

Something tells me a monster this size would be pretty easy to get a glimpse of.

I'm sure the other people in the audience just loved you to death.

Hey, my friends and I went to see Lost World and one was quietly cracking jokes almost MST3K style. When it got to the tyrannosaurus rampaging through San Diego, we were absolutely in stitches. Everyone else was either too busy screaming and jumping or totally confounded by us laughing.

I know I had fun.

im thinking it will be a documentary type to an extent. but looking at the camera from the trailer, it looks professional. so im thinking like a Saving Private Ryan (the first scene of the movie. when the Americans storm Omaha beach) type of camera. know what i mean?

I dont care what any one says, everyone that saw the Blair Witch Project was scared, it has simply become something that is cool to bash on. It is still scary and still ingenious.
