Is there nothing else inside the cat? notes? is that yellow thing sticking out the bottom something, or is it just more wire?

If we could get the coverings for the torso and the legs, I could sew this cat back together!! It looks like it was severely beaten.. or dragged behind a car with all those scuff marks. Thank God they used a stuff cat. I was really scared it would be a dead cat.

Back to your usually catty Rolling Eyes comments!

Hmm, the 1st cat seems pretty close, as for robo-cat, that looks a little too complex, but darn close.

As for "Red wire" or Rod Trad Google Search brings up
http://susning.nu/R%F6d_tr%E5d

However, I cant find a decent swedish to english translator, anyone have any ideas?

P.S.
That stuffed pussy sure seemed like it was ravaged.

ok im done

Another long shot idea here, but if the cat is mechanical and we can get it working again maybe it'll have a message recorded on it.......perhaps a song or something.

Excuse my inexperience just trying to throw out some new ideas.

No man, we appreciate it! that is what an ARG is all about. Alot of the times, the strangest idea leads us in the right direction. And I think you are onto something. However, like Fishk says, we really cannot know too much more until he gets the items needed.

Unfortunately this is going to be quite complicated, simply because we cannot see robo-kitty up close and personal. So, xfishk, we need you to document everything if not, the person will die and it will all be your fault Wink

I dunno who posted this, if it was the PM or not. But "Anonym" is probably refering to the red wire(which marked green) in #002.

Ok cool. Thanks for the encouragement. Just wanted to make sure people didn't accuse me of trying to derail you guys if one of my ideas turns out to be way off base.

I can't wait to see that video, hopefully it'll open up a lot of other avenues to explore.

I used to have a toy like this one except it was not a cat but a dog. What they do are walk, bark/meow and jump flips and land on there feet, and keep on doing it until you either turn it off, use up the battery power or cut the wires.

My dog shared the fate of this cat, it got flayed by some raving lunatic and left out in the cold.

I just had an idea. There's clear tape around the "skeleton" of the cat. At the end of #002 we see someone taping together something - so this is probably that. This may have been obvious, sorry for pointing it out if it is, but why would they tape it?

EDIT: A search of "Snake, Goose, and Cat" brings up the title of a Greek folktale by the same title, but I can't find a copy of it online.

Also, searching for mechanical cat toys brings up several mechanical cats, none of which I've seen look similar to this one, but it looks fairly older than more recent toys. It also brings up this story:
