i think you have a good point about the slusho. It DOES in fact say Slusho Heals. Maybe it does. Or, maybe it is the company's slogan for convincing people that it is safe when it might not be.

As for the SIX TIMES ON RED CRAB - that's nothing. Just go to the HISTORY page and click on the red crab six times and he makes six different facial expressions. That's all. Smile

hmg, the happy talk page on the slusho website features all fan-submitted "talks".

i dont know who made "slusho heals" (i kinda wish now that he posted here)

and Red Walrus (who IS a poster here, and a very good one at that, Mr. Extremophiles Cool ) submitted the now infamous "on red crab six times" almost tongue in cheek-ly (or thats how i interpreted it). i think a good deal of us were suprised that it actually made it in.

Really? Ya know, I've heard that rumor before. I'd be interested to know how fans submitted quotes for the site. If it was once an offered feature it certainly isn't now. Personally (and this is no reflection on you) but I don't think I believe just yet that those are fan submitted quotes, even if someone here lays claim to one of them. The quotes all sound too "manufactured" and suspicious to me for them to be spontaneous fan quotes. It MAY BE real fan quotes, but I think for the time being I'm gonna stick to the view that the makers of the site wote those quotes.

ahhh...but I can prove it. I talked about it thursday before the quotes came out on friday.

"Right away I thought maybe you need to click on something at the Slusho! site 6 times (I know there is nothing in the depiled files).

Then I thought cornbread = on red crab

So I clicked on the red crab in history six times and looked for changes but haven't found anything yet. Will keep looking
(maybe zoom 6 times on crab?)

[EDIT] What?, It's not cornbread now?

Also I have been told by way of pm that the ring tone quote was by another forum user -- jfiscus.

[EDIT] What do you mean by: "I'd be interested to know how fans submitted quotes for the site. If it was once an offered feature it certainly isn't now. " You just email Satoshi from the customer feedback page .
BTW both mine and the ringtone quote were sent in the day before the update to happy talk.

I think the thing to remember here is that there were thousand of fan submitted quotes to the Slusho! site (I myself sent about 15 in an attempt to find out what got posted). The important thing is that someone (PMs) went through the submitted quotes and DELIBERATELY CHOSE which quotes to put on the site. Every fan submitted quote that the PMs chose was either:

A) Something that accidentally or cleverly hit upon the Slusho! role in Cloverfield, or

B) Something that would misdirect or discombobulate the people reading the quotes to throw them off the trail...

There are many potential clues in the quotes (if'n this be a ARG) hiding in plain site.

That's kinda my thoughts too, why put Bloop in again or something so weird as "on red crab 6 times (anagram for cornbread for anyone who didn't get it yet) if the PMs didn't want to led you in one direction.

Sorry, this whole thing about the Happy Talk bubbles being feedback from us just doesn't jive.

First, there is a quote which claims to come from England but is written with a Japanese accent - and in fact nearly every single quote is totally UN-western sounding. It's all written in that cheezy Power Rangers dorkfest kiddy language.

Second, with all of the things on that site, how could anyone not affiliated with Slusho possibly come up with something so un-guess-able, gimmicky and clever as "click six on red crab" and how would ANYONE get the concept to do an anagram on cornbread to come up withe CLICK SIX on red crab. I discovered that the red crab changes when you click on it without knowing anything about "cornbread" and "click six on red crab" - AND you only have to click it ONCE to get it to change. The fact that there are six different faces, one for each click... well, if anyone here is so clever and brilliant to have come up with this ought to be working FOR Paramount making games instead of being here playing them. It is just WAY too coincidental. Sorry.

Third, if quotes are being selected by the Slusho team from "our" feedback, what the heck does someone trying to download a hit song have to do with ANYTHING? If THEY created that quote it would make sense because they have a secret meaning to it. But for them to post it from someone's feedback makes NO sense whatsoever, especially considering the countless thousands of feedback messages they are getting from around the world that I'm positive has more relivent comments in them.

It's all just a little too fishy for my taste. Somebody's playing a game here with us and that game is not an ARG.

Slusho and Chuhai

Any Japanese speakers out there? can you confirm and/or deny Chuhai and Chuai(new drilling pltfrm) could mean the same thing? Chuhai is a mixed alcoholic drink that constists of hard alcohol(sochu/vodka) mixed with a fruity drink (mikan, nashi, and other listed slusho flavors). Given the west passion of Redbull Vods, could this be the trigger of slusho seabed's "love nectar" or "jesus juice" to grumpypants?

Also, from the Tagruato site:
"Hip adult drinkers have begun concocting deliciously intoxicating alcoholic mix drinks starring Slusho!"

Red Walrus put together "on red crab six times" after watching the 2nd video on Jamieandteddy.com. She says something like "I got - I figured out the answer to your question, six. Six times. And the answer that you got wrong is cornbread."

Didn't know what to make of "six times" or "cornbread" in the video, so Red Walrus figured out "on red crab" from "cornbread" and added the "six times" to it....hence "on red crab six times."
