yea, i mean we can throw out as many possible passwords as we can think of, it wont matter - MiniDV tapes can't be password protected unless Trinstod somehow like hacked his tape or something

If he's not up to the task just mail the damn tape to me, and I'll have it up in no time. I have a dv-cam and could copy it right away.

So, is this "password" only for reproducing it or can you upload it to your pc? If you can upload it, do so on Rapidshare and we can try figure something out, aswell as have a copy.

Can someone verify that there is a way to password protect miniDV tapes? I don't want to seem rude, and I'm not calling xFishk a liar or anything, but this is getting pretty darn ridiculous.

EDIT:

OK, from what I've read on the other forum, xFishk doesn't seem to be making this stuff up.

However, the "password" could be referring to something else. We have no idea what software he is using, perhaps the software itself requires a password. Perhaps the equipment he's using needs a password, or some sort of administrative privileges. Perhaps the in fact is a way to password protect a damned tape.

Anyway, it's nighttime in Sweden at the moment, so we'll have to wait YET another day for this thing to (hopefully) clear up.

At the moment, I can just picture the PMs shaking their heads in disbelief...

Maybe he just taped a password screen or something? Could you get a picture or screenshot of the the password screen? I'm not calling you a liar, Fish, I just think that if we see what you see, maybe we can figure out what's up.
