K, So glad to see that you and yours are okay!! Sorry can't be enough to say,but all our prayers are with you. I live in Texas and we have been watching the news all day as we have family all along the coast in Cali. Let us know if you need anything we can help with. As for winners list we will send as they come in. No news on the second prize or the other 30 or so bags yet. God Bless You, and Congrats for your win!! Keep safe. J :O) PS I am an ER NURSE in TX and if the fires last another I don't know the dead line, we are on the trauma team to go and help in local first aid with national gaurd and red cross. My husband and I were laughing about the Covet I won and how it will come in handy in getting the awful "campfire" smell out of my clothes and hair soon!

There's just an awful grey cloud of burning stench all over the city with large white ash "snowing" all over everything and leaving a coating on the roads and cars, etc. It's bizzare to see the red moon reflecting the fires here and the red embers from the fires floating up in the dark sky tonight.

I'll check in with you all soon...but I'm fine and my husband, my dog, my cat and some wedding photos made it in the evacuation...so all will be well no matter what!

You see covet people! This is a winner! Not some stupid hack that comes in at the last second! Ok for your next game, some tips from the players:

1.) You dont play at least half time, you dont get a chance at winning
2.) If your name has been drawn for the SAME prize, you dont get drawn again for the same prize so that others can have a chance
3.) You HAVE to link up with a network of people like unfiction or you are missing out and therefore missing the point of the game so you dont get a chance at winning (or making a network of great people your friends which means you lose anyway!)
4.) the moment there is a winner, the techs must put the names on the board. They can always be taken down if something doesnt pan out.
5.) communication is key! finish the damn story!

did I miss anything ladies and gents?

Wow, great job guys. You replaced one letter from SJP for the same one from Melisande. Were they just being lazy and actually thought we wouldn't notice? Seriously, we don't care about the letter, we just want to see the last gift bag winners.

That being said, I got another e-mail this morning from Bill saying they expect to ship the prizes in the next 2-3 weeks. So I hope that includes all the gift bags everyone won!

Also, I think they've probably already informed the winner of the plasma TV. Since all the other bigger prizes have been informed it would just make sense. I think that means it's not an Unfictioner. So sad.

 		Hmmm...I still see that damn pink letter, haha. I guess the site isn't completely updated yet. Hopefully, the Covet people will finish up the story, as promised...and post the winners ASAP. More importantly, I hope all these fires will stop so everyone can return safely to their homes. Smile

Glad to hear that you are OK Katy...it must be dreadful out there! My friend lives in San Diego and they are in an advisory area...he and his wife have packed their car and are ready to go if the time comes.

That Tijuana bar statment was hysterical!!! Laughing

Hi Katy I'm so glad to hear you and your family are alright! I didn't even think about you living where the fires were. How scary! I hope your house makes it. Thank God you and your Hubby and and animals got out. We'll let you know what's going on on the Covet site but unfortunately it hasn't been much!

That white letter was weird! What was up with that? Just switching the names out (SJP for Melisande)? Why would they bother? They kept the date on it the same too. Very strange!!! I figured they notified the TV winner already but I thought they'd list the 30 gift bag winner's names. This is extremely frustrating!!!!! Mad Mad Mad
