INFO: synthasia.com; lorem ipsum dolor

On the synthasia.com/mjm.html, the text shown "'Lorem
ipsum dolor sit amet..." is a standard passage used in the typesetting industry as explained here... http://www.lipsum.com/

Heh.

My girlfriend and I stared at the page for a bit.

Me: "Hmmm...that's not Latin, is it?"

Her: "Don't think nonummy is a Latin word..."

Edit: However, the site that you've linked to also mentions that many people inject their own stuff into lipsum, so that might be what Dale is doing here. It's possible that there might be something worth salvaging if we can separate the lipsum from Dale's own injection of words.

Feeling a little overwhelmed, but will follow all you smarty pants and hope to understand more as we go.

I've been trying to decipher the Chinese? characters on the Log-In page and got the first one I think:)

It's "ding"...tried "ding dong"....to no avail.

Can anyone confirm if they are indeed Chinese?

I wouldn't be surprised if the characters on the left ARE "ding" and "dong".

I WOULD be surprised if the owners of the site decided to put their password right next to the place to put the password.

If the characters are "ding" and "dong", that might just be a little joke thrown in by the PM.

You're probably right, but I have no clue what to "do next" ...this is a lot more info than I ever expected to have to take in at once... I'm just trying to do something...lol

You *are* doing something. I was way too lazy to go get my friend who's in a Chinese class right now and ask him to identify the characters for me, so you've got my respect. Smile

cracked login

raynardm cracked the login page from the cryptogram email we received

his CD post...

Quote:
Has anyone else found his email?? I dont see any posts on it, so Ill put it out
there. From the login on synthasia.com, type in "readonly" and it will give you
a URL. go to that URL and type in user name "readonly" and password "helpme" you
will get dale's email.
Got the passwords from the cryptogram sent to me when I wrote to nobodySPLATsynthasia.com.
still finishing the cryptogram.

hope this helps Smile

Yay raynardm!!
