I talked to Frankie a month or so ago. From what I gathered talking to other Bungie employees, Bungie had pretty much nothing to do with Iris (outside the bungie.net forum stuff I would assume). Frankie was the only one that did know anything about Iris, but he wasn't talking. This was after the campaign officially ended too. If anyone can get in touch with him and grill him for more info, sure, go for it. But I think if we're going to get any hard info it's going to be from someone from Microsoft who worked on the campaign.

Well how hard can it be to find someone at microsoft to talk to about this? You guys are information fiends, go for it.
The general information number at Microsoft Corporation is 1-425-882-8080.
If you hold on through the message you can get to an operator. Due to the time difference, they weren't open when I called them.
You guys can do this. If I have trouble reaching who I want in a corporation I usually either ask for the President's office - their administrative assistant can help you figure out who to reach, or the legal department -same thing. So I guess you would ask for Ballmer? Not Gates I assume. If that is too scary, try the marketing department....Didn't that internal memo we got have someone's name on it - or quoted in it?
I'm not joking here. Don't waste your time going from department to department. I would explain the problem to the highest level person you can find, get their name and number and see if they can help you find the right person.
I could do this for you -but you are grownups and you can do it for yourselves.
By the way, don't be intimidated, as part of the Vanishing Point promotion people were required to track down a number at Microsoft. No one ate them alive.

Well, Compound Intelligence has started what they hope to be a mature and vocal public thread about the issue

How do you feel about Server Packages never being sent out? Let Bungie know in this thread in the public Community Forum. Please use proper grammar and spelling and think your post out carefully. Thanks!
Whether it works or not, who knows. And yes, though MS is ultimately responsible, Bungie is definitely involved, and they have the ability to escalate the issue if they can do nothing about it.
Or someone could try Rose's idea and call MS and work their way into the proper channel

As to the Server Packages: I feel that IRIS was kind of a reward in and of itself, not because the story was good (it wasn't) or that the actual puzzles were good (they weren't) but because it gave me a chance to interact with the great community here, and finally assuaged my regret over never taking part in ILB.
That said...
I also hauled my ass out to a bad part of town at freaking 1:00 AM at night, and stood around trying to copy down a URL that appeared in a video for a few frames before it would loop. It was a major pain in the @ss. I feel kind of ripped off, because as much as I put into IRIS, I never got something that proves that I was ever a part of it. All I wanted was a t-shirt or a gamerpic. Something like a signed book, or a copy of the game, or ANYTHING ELSE is just icing on the cake, but all I want is SOMETHING TO SHOW THAT I CONTRIBUTED. I'm going to be very unhappy if I never get any prize, especially considering that I was the first person to get the URL out to the ARGospghere (or more specifically, the Unfiction IRC) at large. I don't expect Bungie (EDIT: Or Microsoft) to send me a copy of legendary edition or a halo 3 xbox 360, just a lousy Gamerpic code, and T-Shirt.

Apparently there was a Server 3 prize that was shipped out to someone, according to args.bungie.org.
Still waiting to see if it's a legit prize, since it was only posted to one person so far.

It was posted by someone on bungie.net, just the one person so far. Sadly, no mention of a code for the gamerpic. If it's real, hopefully the Server 5 packages are a little better .

IT's LEGIT!!! I just got mine. White box from Microsoft. Inside was a poster for IRIS and a key chain for Halo 3. I wish I had gotten a t-shirt, but still really cool that they didn't forget.
I'll post pics later. I opened server 3 by the way.

Here are my pics. I would have done this earlier, but I figured since it's been confirmed multiple times on ABO and CI, that it wasn't as urgent.
It's the same as everyone elses. If anyone is interested in the poster let me know. They folded it, so it has some creases.
