EDIT: Hmm, something seems to be written behind the letter in the PDF. Been messing with it in Photoshop, but I cant quite make it out. Maybe someone else can...?

been playing with it tonight as a jpg and pdf file. wish i had adobe...

most definite something back there. i can make out a schedule (2:00 4:00 6:00 on the mid left side. I can see the date that notgordian sees 29th.
and a few other bits of stuff. i need to re-download my PSP to get to this stuff i think.

I also think the bits of "film" on the front and backsides of the video have information.. letters... etc..

Yeah, it looks like a business letter or something--upper right says "29th"

I messed with the colors for the places where it looked like there was something else written.

Fiddled with the image but can't get anythign more than you guys already got.

I have some excellent video software (and scratch animation is totally my thing :p) but I have nothing to steal the vid from youtube. There's definitely some stuff i there, I see the number 2 at the very least which fits in with either the 29th or 2:00pm from the letter.

how did you come across the the pdf? google?

Hmm, ok. NCfriend sent me the grabbed video but i can't throw it in Avid for some reason to dissect it.

Anyway, because I'm impatient, i just went for the lame method of videoing it off my laptop screen and throwing it in cheapo windows moving maker, putting it the right way up and slowing it down.

i can't really see anything :/ i tried flipping the image in case the back to front Ns did anythng nifty but...nothing.

Here's the first part if anyone wants to take a look Excuse the quality, obviously :p If we think it's worth it, I can do the same for the scratch at the end too but i don't think there's much to see asides of a big "2" or "20", an "e" and something that's maybe a "p" or "?" that can be seen by playing the vid on YT normally.

as a film maker the beginning made me think of when we write on the beginning of a reel of film so the projectionist knows it's the start, anyway, i captured the video from youtube and took each seperate frame and put them together to see if anything was written along the film (it appears to have been actually filmed on 8mm or something unless it's digital and just been made to look that way in post) anyway this is what i got, I think it's nothing but I'll post it just in case there is something there and one of you guys can find it.

EDIT: this is just the bit at the start the ending looks different but unless this is clearly important I might not bother doing the end as well as there's more frames

Found a Psychologist named Howard Taylor who has worked with a man named "Brown"


this could mean jack shit but i figured because he studied psychology it could mean something

Some of those characters on the lead in to the vid remind me of the number characters that we learned when i did the second POTC The Hunt.. Were any of you in on that? I'll have to go back and find my notes.
