Not quite sure myself actually. All we have is this video. Maybe a website will be given soon but there isn't really evidence it's related to anything so I'm going with it as it's own game. Now can anyone zoom in on that puzzle piece? Maybe there is something written? I try and make something out but my vision sucks. XD

can we also get a transcript of the voice?

I say we get our hands dirty with this video.

I agree, I think this is its own ARG, and we should start working on it ourselves.

It sounds to me like he is saying, "We all have our own pain. Sometimes it makes us do... crazy things."

There is a pause in there, and the echo makes it a little difficult ot understand with my sad little speakers.

Does this match what you hear?

I did not follow pLir... Embarassed

What do you mean by "start a campfire"? Is it like brainstorming?

Pretty cool idea - lets brainstorm until we can figure out if it is it's own arg at this point

It means we have a virtual campfire, yknow, you bring the marshmallows, I bring the Hershey bars, Nobuo brings the graham crackers... then we all forage for sticks & get one of these Boy Scouts to start a fire and voila - Smores! Brownie (I know, that's a brownie, I don't really know what it's for but I've been wanting to use it.)

So ya, basically it means we try to pass the time in a somewhat amusing way, is all. (Can't remember if I've posted in the pLir thread, but I've been lurking... btw I don't think it's really taken off yet either, so there's time to catch up.)

The way I see it we need to check every frame of that video, VERY slow mo. Can we get someone to check that out for any more clues? Maybe a site flashes.

I'll look into it.

I definitely found nothing. I even messed with the audio, and there's nothing too weird about that, just that there's a man gasping in it at one point. Here's the audio (without the static at this end), for anyone who just wants to listen.

By the way, in case it hasn't been figured out yet, I think it says "we all have our own opinion. Sometimes it makes us do... crazy things."

Clutching for straws, I checked that ol' favourite Craigslist for anything 'sol' related in NY. Nuffink.

Well, I am always up for smores. Smile

Since "SOL" was all caps, it could stand for Statue of Liberty... but that doesn't help this make any more sense. Just throwing it out there.

But if we are having a campfire, I want to break out the harmonica ala Les Stroud (Survivorman, for those who know his show).

In theory, you could send mail from the Statue of Liberty since Ellis Island is there and there is a governmental agency there as well.

In practice, I don't know. I have been there once but I never tried to send any mail. Wink
