Caterpillar, that's great! Kudos to you; I was almost certain this one would take a while to figure out. Also... uhh... I did manage to make a typo in the quote, which I will fix sometime soon (but is has absolutely no effect on the solution).

Hmmm.....came back to this and still can't get it.

The ones that don't belong........reminds me of that Sesame Street song/game.

Ugh... I don't know how to incorporate a hint into the page, so I'll do it here: in each row, one doesn't belong Smile

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Count the number of line segments used in each letter. Each row has one letter that's different from the others.

Compiling the solutions (along with the next page):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
[Begin here.] Berlioz didn't get it. Philosophy is of no help. Perception reveals but our necessarily limited capacity for understanding. Yet I refuse to be a collection of little robots. I want to KNOW...

Also, could someone really briefly explain how "a collection of little robots" was obtained? I'm not really seeing that one. Smile And why is it in the wrong language?

I'll see if Caterpillar wants to explain this one - I still think that was such a fast solve!

It was written in Latin above the Oracle's door, right? But the Oracle was Greek, and the writing was definitely in Greek in the temple at Delphi. Also, I wanted to hint at "know" being in English.

Yep, yep. I'd just never thought of that before, and was wondering why they would translate it into Latin. It sounded like you might be implying that you knew (although I guess you weren't), so I was wondering. It's weird. I googled and couldn't find any explanation, or even any attempt at one, although lots of people noticed it.

For the next puzzle, eh, I went through lots of Chagall galleries trying to find that picture (it's called "Au dessus de la ville," or "above the town"), and then I tried looking more closely at it:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There are letters hidden in the image, up near the top (appropriately enough). Lots of playing with contrast reveals "above all."

[edit]I'm not sure about the next puzzle, but at least now the unicodes in the title of each page make sense.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They encode Cyrillic characters that, as far as I can tell with my not-very-good Russian, translate to "town shoots at the night."
Heh, I would probably have gotten that sooner if I had the proper fonts installed. And if the Unicode webpage didn't insist on encoding its codes in hexadecimal. Why exactly would they do that? Haha, we're going to make sure that, when people want to look up our codes, they'll be in a format that people can't use! Muahaha! I'm probably missing something about their reasoning there...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You'll notice that there are differing spaces between the letters, assign 1s and 0s to the spaces and the letters. (Tricky because there is a space at the very beginning and if you missed it you got slop....lol)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
On the page with the о + ч
1086 is o and 1095 resembles and upside down number 4
Thus 0+4=4

I got directed here, but is it the right page?

So far:

1043 GHE Г
1086 Small Letter O о
1088 Small Letter ER р
1086 Small Letter O о
1076 Small Letter DE д
32
1089 Small Letter ES с
1090 Small Letter TE т
1088 Small Letter ER р
1077 Small Letter IE е
1083 Small Letter EL л
1103 Small Letter YA я
1077 Small Letter IE е
1090 Small Letter TE т
1074 Small Letter VE в
32
1085 Small Letter EN н
1086 Small Letter O о
1095 Small Letter CHE ч
1100 Small Letter SOFT SIGN ь

Город стреляетв ночь

I keep getting:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
City streljaetv night, but from what I can tell by translating a couple of pages containing the word, "shot/shooting" might be the translation of the middle word, as Omnie pointed out.

Now as far as:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
о + ч
(Cyrillic Small Letter O + Cyrillic Small Letter CHE )

4
four
for
04
OCHE
ECHO
and the machine translation of оч ("och")

......all don't work.

BTW........what's the little symbol prior to the о and ч?

Careful

You added an extra o to the first word!

1043 GHE Г
1088 Small Letter ER р
1086 Small Letter O о
1076 Small Letter DE д

makes
грод... which i take means almost the same thing as:
город = city
городок = town

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a russian speaking friend confirmed it's supposed to be saying:
City shooting into the night
But i don't see any sense in that...

As for the small letter...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
this is what i get:
грод стреляет в ночь
so н is what you were looking for?

That is the order of the pages and the machine translation of that first word the way I have it, gave me "city" without any problems.

And the о + ч is what's on the most recent page....

We're also told not to forget to seperate....and I've tried some versions of my attempts (posted above) with underscores, still no luck. I feel like it's "right there"....know what I mean? lol

Before you guys venture too far off into linguistics, I updated the page - and it should now be clear what you have to do Smile

Don't worry about the titles just yet. You'll need them, but it will be a while later (and then I'll probably hint at what to do with them). Fwiw, so far what you're getting is right... cool!
