I just want to let every one know that I am not going to get in to this squabble. The fact is that this is very well an arg and I would like to play it even if it does have religious undertones. I am not a god fearing citizen of this planet but I sure do like a good game and I hope this turns out to be one. Now can we play the game instead of quarreling?

Guys, my point is that they are using misleading tags to get attention. I explained why that bothered me. If it doesn't bother you, that is fine, but I would appreciate not being characterized as having knee-jerk reactions, or any other bias for or against religion.

My opinion is just my opinion.

I don't see this being an ARG, other than the fact they label it as such. All I see so far is a few videos promoting a conference and with dates that update.

what about the whispering in the video: "charlie is coming" and "charlie was here 2-15-08" written on the wall? Charlie's got to be somebody....
they wanted specifically ARG players to look at it, or else they would have tagged it a different way.

you dont see anything promising in that?

I don't want to discourage anyone from playing who finds this interesting.

I haven't seen any evidence of any other sites. I did look around to see if anything had been posted by the "director" of the Youtube videos, but didn't see anything.

I'm sure someone will post something more when a new video is posted.

Something odd, the domain name nothingisgoingtochange.com is registered by a totally different person, they even used a different domain name regesterant. The registeration was made in 2006, so either the ARG was being planned for a while or you read wrong:

Odd, they apparently have no firewall, every single port on their system is open.
everythingisgoingtochange.com has a SMTP, IMAP, FTP, SSH, HTTPS, directory server, SMTPS, IMAPS, and POP3S servers on.

EDIT 2: When I connected to its SMTP sever, http://orthanc.site5.com/ was included in the HELP command. That site has a phpsysinfo script running, im assuming thats their server.

Just found this ans was intrigued. If this is a religious ARG, and they're talking about having to go underground and everything changing, maybe it's a post-Second Coming setting? Wish I could go up to Atlanta to chech things out...

Anyway, If it was post- Second Coming, that would explain any roundaboutness. (I don't think that's even a word...)
