wow, I feel like I'm not contributing anything to this
so far we've exchanged emails and everytime I describe my life story, James keeps requesting more specific information.
I can't come up with any questions to ask him
I feel so useless

Salsa,
He was given the same information as I was. He just chose to go down the other path. He found the god (or gods) that he had been seeking to follow and They gave him meaning. But make no mistake, they don't treat him like they treat Their own. They use him the same way, he just doesn't think of it as being used.

Hey guys, I've been following this for a while, talking with James via email and I'm not really getting a lot of info either.
So far he's appointed me Captain of this Army Veritas, the meaning of which I'm not entirely sure. Sounds like things could get heated/violent. I should also point out that the forum on http://www.freewebs.com/theonlytruthishere/ has been opened.
This is the last thing he has told me, the rest you pretty much all know anyway.

I am overjoyed to hear such zealotry. We are of one mind, Thom, and I am glad to have you as an ally. In fact, I hereby appoint you as Captain Thom Adams of the Army Veritas. If action is to be taken, I will call on you first. I will also need you to alert any of the others in times of need or if I can not alert them myself. Can you handle that?
As far as killing Them, that would be the end goal. It would be good if we could kill them before They kill me, but I am nowhere close to a solution. Hopefully, though, with all of your help we will find a way.
-James
I told him I was keen to help any way I can. Has anyone been in contact with Wes? Maybe we should try and find this sister?

I emailed Wes but so far have not received a reply, and veritas usually means truth (I think) so I guess you're part of the Truth Army!

I will be gone/busy for the next week or so, so I haven't replied to James at all. I love music, but the school is killer. James would probably tell me that They have something to do with it. I'll catch up some time next week.
EDIT: Okay, before I check out for a few days I thought I'd explore the red tide issue that James mentions so much when he writes me. Here is a Red Tide map showing where it is currently active:
http://www.ncddc.noaa.gov/website/HABSOS_nrt/viewer.htm
The two places with the greatest RT problem are between Pensacola and Panama City in west Florida and Between Jacksonville and a point south of Saint Augustine in east Florida.
He said he didn't want to be found and it wouldn't make a difference anyway, but he has issued a big clue to his location: he lives in Florida somewhere on one of two stretches of beach.

The forum on http://www.freewebs.com/theonlytruthishere/
and the guestbook on http://www.freewebs.com/thechurchofsaints/
seem to share usernames and passwords, meaning that if you're a member of one, you're a member of the other. (At least, being a member of the forum makes you a member of the guestbook, I don't know about the other way round.)

I just sent an e-mail to Wes, and one to James a couple days ago but have yet to hear from either of them, maybe They got to James or the PM decided it was just too much to do on his own.

James said he had problems when the Crimson/Red Tide was in effect, so could it have killed him?

Doug,
To be honest I've been a very sickly person for as long as I can remember. So was James and Melissa, as I recall, were always just as sick as I was. Red tide, though, can also bring on coughing fits. Healthier people can usually handle it but I was no match.
The beach is a beautiful thing. Tourists however are not. Tourists are just another little tool created by Them to suck the life out of one more thing we hold precious.
-James
So he could have had trouble with the crimson tide now and died

eegleburger, that was from the long email exchange back on p.1. I think ppl are just specing on where James/PM has slunk off to.
I thought you had to eat infected seafood or something for the red tide to "get" you.
EDIT: Just sent this to Wes:

Hello Mr. Hargrove,
I came across your site and would like to hear more about the Church. There does not seem to be much information available, but what is there is extremely interesting to me. Is there more of this Living Text? Who are the Others, and the Cloud Saint? Is the time of Redemption coming? I have so many questions.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
