Well apparently we Americans are more interested! Hmmfff! They should have let us play! Laughing Laughing So what do you think about what I posted above about the Carniceria Website? Any ideas?

No way it can be a drag and drop, only because all of the pictures on there are .jpg

So yeah, no dice. Good idea though.

Chalkboard
matches

On the Carniceria Guzman website doesn't the chalkboard look like you should be able to do something with the sticks on the bottom? They almost look like matches face to face. Now that I'm writing this in the video the clue (Carniceria Guzmam and Ham) was written on a chalkboard! Maybe we need to do something with that?

http://carniceriaguzmam.com/

I never noticed there were matchsticks under the chalkboard. I looked at it numerous times before I saw them.

Definitely some kind of a clue.

The thing is, you have to drag the weights onto the scale in a certain order or it will not work. And make sure you are on the new webpage - click the weights to get into a new page first.

Off topic a wee bit, but still sort of relevant

Nice to see that Diageo are doing this. As an ex-employee who spent a lot of time trying to get them to do something similar for one of their other brands a few years ago I'm really happy to see them finally moving in this direction! My guess is they will have put in slow down points for people - the website guinnesstipping.com only launched today according to the mail I got.

As to the US vs UK - the web is global, unfortunately competition laws are not neither is the brand company in this case. US Guinness and UK Guinness are run by 2 completely different teams (and budgets). But one thing it has done is led the US based people to all of the great UK ads which are completely different to the US ones, and, I think, better. FYI, the Noitulove ad you may have seen cost a million or so for all the animation. The budget for this online work is probably a lot less Wink

Well, this is kind of irrevelant now, but for those who were working on the video at the beginning, i just got an email back from the Las Vegas Convention Centre and it did indeed open April 1959. So I guess they just stole a head/foot.

Lame.

That is so funny - they must wonder why you wanted to know. I guess we all took it to the extreme dissecting the film frame by frame for approx. 100 frames. Laughing

Well, like I said before, Ramon said it was going to be difficult, and well we took it that far.

But it goes to show you, ARG's set up by marketing companies are usually a lot easier than CF.

Progress seems to have come to a bit of a halt. Spent some time after work today and these are the fruits of my labours:

In my efforts to get code 7 I have found a clue for a later code. Perhaps the penultimate one, the only reason I say this is because the domino on the bottom left of the paper is 6:6 which matches (no pun intended) the number 10 domino.

Plenty to get stuck into here though, no harm in getting some time spent on it in advance.

As well as the new names, Jose Fernando and Adelmo Rocha, there are also a couple of quotes, which translate as:

"Can't judge a book by its cover", and
"Strike while the iron is hot"

It looks like there might be six numbers on the face of the watch on the far left, hard to make out though...

I'm off to bed soon, up to you guys to take up the mantle...
