The month on article 3 could be January or October, I'm guessing January. If these are in chronological order, then article 1 could actually be from November of 2012 (doubt it though).

If you use "i hate mortemism too" as the key to a Vigenere cipher, the first words of newspaper1.doc are "deranged cultists". However, everything else comes out as gibberish.
Edit: The same thing for newspaper2; it begins with "at about noon today" and then becomes unintelligible

[EDIT] And with my uber-hackerish skillz, I have set up a Gmail account specifically for Relay Station Alpha - relaystationalphaSPLATgmail.com.

What I want to know, though, is how do the CAM guys know that Relay Station Alpha is in "West Shoakan" [sic]? I never mentioned the town - I just referred to it as being in "Tyrian Sector" Shocked

The pressure is on for Sam and Steven. They just emailed that the Wendigo are back and are using tools trying to get in to them. Arg, I hope a big old clue is in those newspaper clippings. I'm all fretting about those two characters all surrounded by demons (yah I know. I also get all worked up during movie previews).

UPDATE from Sam:

Hey,
The Windigo never made it through, but something else did. We had to hightail it to the Haggard's Hazard club. It was those damn spider-things, the Tarantella. Steven said they were named after an old dance, the same one the Tarantula was named after. Anyway, they must've climbed in through the air ducts, and we had to high tail it. I have some minor cuts on my body, but Steven's fine. They scratched up his clothes, but no there aren't any wounds on him, not that I can see.
From what I understand, though, Windigo are not actually native to this area. They're from Cree and Algonquian folklore, and we're a ways from those areas. But I've never heard of or seen this Tarantella creature before.
