 		Hey guys. I've been dark for a while - been really busy getting stuff done, but I've been lurking around.

Now, this site really reminds me of Jericho (which incidentally, also takes place in a small Kansas town after a large scale nuclear event).

Hmmm.... I'm still reading it and trying to make sense of everything.

 		it appears to be giving us more information about the people we are hearing and will likely be a way to get better interaction information about the node messages. Especially when the promised images are uploaded.

There's a barcode and several scratched in symbols to be seen yet.

You'll notice the maximize key on both pictures is grayed out.

Residents of Sakanas were awoken at dawn yesterday to find the Southeastern areas, mile 3 and the Tyrma Sled Run, up to the business district overrun by what appeared to be thousands of dogs. Some estimates by residents on the periphery placed the number at closer to ten thousand. Eyewitnesses, including this author, brought shovels and rifles and any light weapons that could be grabbed nearby in the early light and confronted the hoard. Some claimed there were wolves at the mass's periphery, acting as herders, pushing the group deeper into town. "Wolves were biting the backs of the stragglers" eyewitness Wendy Calders said.
The dogs seized farm animals from every exposed pen including the Hofstaeder's farm which is the largest full-scale operation within a mile of town. "We are just devastated, I spent the morning putting down about 30% of the remaining animals. Overall our losses total in the thousands, the dogs were able to easily enter the hen house and destroy this year's successful rebuild. Looks like we'll have to start all over again."
Homes that had adopted farm animals on their property, having never had animals except for pets before September 2006, were the most damaged since the security for the animals tended to be light and the corralled areas compact and swarmed by starving and crazed dogs within seconds of their being spotted.
Shots could still be heard at 10AM in downtown as the last of the dogs were driven Southwest. Speculation is high that the dogs are part of a hunting group that originated in the Kansas City area.
Some dogs appeared to have partial or full burn scarring indicating they survived Lawrence's atomic hit. Several were blind and followed the sounds of other dogs. Besides a few bites, no one seems to have been badly injured by the pack. Several splinter packs have gone north from the main pack. By nightfall only a few dogs could be heard in the distances surrounding town. This reporter could observe residents south and west lighting huge bonfires to keep the dogs at bay. And on a side note, I observed many a dog be confused whether to obey my presence or the pack's chaotic mission. Still, no one here dared use precious ammunition unless the dogs threatened farm animals or human's directly.

 		Digging the back end I found no "In Game" content. I did find a rather wide open Apache/1.3.33 Server based out of Florida.

So now we have two for sure strike points- Sakanas, KS, and Lawrence, KS.

I can also postulate that Sakanas is to the northwest of KC now- if the speculation is that they came from the KC area, and they were all found running amok in the Southeastern part of town, I can only guess they were heading NW when they ran across Sakanas. What it means now- we can't really be sure, but still- noting it.

 		Several previous articles in the herald at least two on a quick inspection mentioned suddenly missing dogs which would lead one to believe that whatever is going on with the dogs. All of the posts bear some similarities similarities to problems/ situations faced in Jericho episodes, particularly suggestions of sympathizers among the locals and such. However this could still be circumstantial due to the fact that both are post apocalyptic scenarios and most discuss day to day issues that may be common in such a scenario

 		I noticed something funny. In the January 1st entry it says that Urish Keeney died of a heart attack during church services. In the January 10th entry it says that Urish Keeney has been reported missing.

It could be a mistake, but I wonder. There must be some reason that January 1st is spelled out on the left hand menu when all the other dates and abbreviated. You also can't click the more button to get to the post entry, you have to type it in.

Do you guys think the admin folder is a mistake or part of the game?

Western media reports are stating that the US spy satellite debris hitting Peru was caused by a meteor, but which, according to these reports, would be 'impossible' as the size of 30-meter crater, if caused by a meteorite, would have hit the ground with about as much energy as 1 kiloton tactical nuclear weapon, and which would have been recorded by the seismic stations around the World.

Most astonishing about these reports, however, are that they state that it was the Americans themselves who destroyed their own spy satellite with the attack upon it being made by the United States Air Forces' 30th Space Wing located at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. This incident further fuels the intrigue involving the United States War Leaders plans to attack Iran in their attempt to engulf the entire Middle East in Total War, but, against which, according to Russian Military Intelligence Analysts, a 'high ranking and significant' faction of the American Military Establishment is opposed to.

This can be further evidenced by this past few weeks unprecedented announcement by the United States Air Force that 6 nuclear armed cruise missiles were removed, without authorization, from their secure holding facility, located in North Dakota at the Minot Air Force Base, and flown to Barksdale Air Force Base, located in Louisiana, where they were left 'unattended' for 'nearly 10 hours'.

It is interesting to note, too, that Barksdale Air Force Base is where the United States President was 'ordered' to report to on September 11, 2001 by the United States Air Force Strategic Command prior to his being 'transferred' under 'armed escort' to Offutt Air Force Base Strategic Command Center near Omaha, Nebraska, where the first 'truce' between Americas War Leaders and its Military Forces was 'negotiated' by billionaire Warren Buffett as intermediary between the rival power blocs.
