Thank You! I was really having my head spin even more trying to figure out your path, but after you explained it, It made sense. That google.code stuff is for programmers to use to work together to write programs.

I too feel like we are missing something very obvious & will all go DUH! when we find it - I just hope that is soon Wink

Some light!

Hey!

If the Guirardo Buirtago ad is in Arpa Taller website, which comes 3 websites BEFORE meat nightmare Carniceria Guzman, MAYBE, they've deleted the profile so that we wouldn't get even more lost.

What do you think?

I'll try to explore Guirardo's.. also, same watchs are in Inclinar el Punto and inclinar el punto has everything to do with the watchs...

I couldn't manage to watch the video, didn't get how you found them...

Hi guys,

I've just spend the last hour or so reading through this, because like you, I've stuck on 8. Though it didn't take me three days to get there.

In all honesty, I think that a lot of you are just reading too much into this.

Reading the source code is great, and you have got a lot of info out of it, but you have to remember that this is a competition designed for the general public (who admittedly have to be able to use the web) so I doubt that the solution is going to sit somewhere hidden behind the scenes in an area which only the highly computer literate can find.

Each clue up to this point has pretty much consisted of:

a) find a key image/word(s) in the movie
b) find a webpage using the search function
c) complete a small task to get it done.

I can't see there being anything different in the rest of this game now that we are so far in. I think that they just have a reason that they have held it up here. And it'll probably be sorted after the weekend.

huh?

with every new person that comes on here I seem to get loster and loster... either with wacky meat theories (LOL) or scripts/codes/programs....
my head is spinning... if i wasn't leaving in 36 hours for Disney World, I'd probably be climbing the walls while we all played the waiting game.

An idle mind is the devil's workshop, don't ya know??

Yep, this "waiting period" was planned all along..... cause they like to make people wait.. they even say so in their ads. sigh...

um.. i'm a computer idiot (well, as far as programming goes) but i DO know how to look at the source code and find something that wouldnt normally belong there.

So can I just confirm that the world is stuck on Domino 8, and its not just that I'm intellectually subnormal?

Seems like there's a number for each of the pictures:

1 (sausages hanging vertically)
3 (sausages shaped like a 3)
4 (look in the middle of the picture, that looks like a pretty clear 4 to me)
8 (both chickens have a hole of some sort punched in the middle, why else?)
? (this one's not clear)
9 (not sure, but there are two fairly clear 9's in the fat of the two steaks on the left)

Having said that I've tried all combinations of the 5th number and none of them work, can anyone see different numbers?

By the way $119500 was the amount paid for a lock of Che Guevara's hair recently.

NUMBER 8
doing my head in

hi guys and girls..thought i'd post.

i'm a guinness lover who up until a few weeks ago worked for diageo. i've done my best not to cheat and work the clues out myself...must say that domino 8 has be utterly stumped.

do you think that its us being too quick?

i've pretty much seen the final advert and its worth the wait. i think the delaying maybe because they are happy for online to crack the advert a day before it launches but the way that we're going it'll be a lot sooner?

I'm with JP....

I think that JP has something here - six pictures, we need six numbers. Coincidence?

The sausages definitely look like 3's, but I see a 5 on the Ham, as opposed to a 4.

I thought that the shorizo could be 8, two sausages together... tenuous though...

so I had 835--9. To save you all the effort though I have tried all 100 permutations from 835009 to 835999.. Crying or Very sad

I think that it must be one of -35--9 but I'm not about to try all one thousand (okay I've eliminated 100, so really only 900 to go).

On another note - anyone having problems registering? I'm in the UK but it will not accept my postcode (or any postcode that I've tried)........ Evil or Very Mad
