Mac

I know I know. Superior to PC and all that. I love my macbook, I do, really. The university got it for me, and it is shiny and sleek and has a higher IQ than I do. But I CAN'T play my pc games on it, and I still haven't figured out the various plug ins required to make it do half the stuff my beat up old dell did. ack. So it looks great and my boyfriend is going to do tons of film projects on it but I get a bit teary eyed when I remember how wonderful it was to be able to right click.

FOR EXAMPLE, I can't play any of those vids, and half the decrypting software is PC only. Any tips? Or any links to where I can view the bones vids online?

The answer to any and all video woes you have is VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

That'll play just about everything with the exception of WMVs and rare esoteric AVI encodings.

Videos
And how to play them

For what it's worth .mp4 files can be played by QuickTime or iTunes, should you have either.

This is true; VLC is still a pretty good thing to have, though. Who knows what other formats the PM could use...

So we seem to be missing something, according to Trailguide's newest post. I've looked back through what we've got so far and I can't find anything.

One of Trailguide's messages had bold text saying "wake up trapped" which turned out to be the title of the Youtube video we found through the code. I've tried searching the couple of other words/phrases found in bold in Trailguide's posts, but nothing's coming up on Youtube or Google Video.

I went back to SOL NY again, but the club doesn't seem to have a relation. I was thinking that the video of "Mark" and the labeling him as a test subject, seemed to indicate that it was taken by someone that Mark would feel comfortable opening up to. So I tried searches for therapy or documentaries, things like that, but the only thing I came up with was http://www.solstonecenter.com/, a treatment center for eating disorders. Doesn't look like it's in game.

I wonder if someone was sent an email or package and never posted? Trailguide did mention that the trail seemed "dead by dawn." We do have a poster here and there by that name, and now Bandages (game character or unfiction member?) has posted asking about the whereabouts of DeadbyDawn.

DeadbyDawn, have you gotten any other messages or packages?

Ah, so we needed a different video site. Not familiar with that one, so I didn't even think to search there.

Anyway, looks like this is what we have so far. Three out of four corners, though it's hard yet to tell whether these are facing correctly or not.

Sorry
absence

Sorry for the short absence, I had business to take care of. It looks like things have progressed pretty well, though. I'm reading up now but, if there's something I can help with, feel free to PM me.

EDIT: I was reading up on the IG forum and I believe the trailguide was referring to the post I made regarding his use of Mark's statement. I'll do what I can to research it. He stated we missed MANY puzzle pieces, not just one. BTW I didn't receive anything in email.

Look for all the world like it's 4x4 to me, but then again, I was also fairly sure it was 2x2 not that long ago, so who knows...

I think it's still too soon to tell. But then, I've lost consciousness several times in the last few weeks from holding my breath on these things, so I'm inclined to be cautious at the moment. Evil or Very Mad
