Domino 8
more info?

Smile just wondered if anyone had posted this

Mi nombre es Señor Pedro Guzman, butcher in my village. All my friends say I have good memory! If I meet you once, I always remember, and see you as a friend for life. They stop by once and visit the shop again two years later and are shocked when I greet them by their first name! That's why my son has started this Myspace page for me- so I can stay in touch with the people I've met. You never know what you will find when you make a new friend. Please visit my shop sometime for the best meats in the land, always fresh and cut perfect.
Comments:
"Nice to see you here Pedro, thanks for the add!"

Buenos Pedro, I heard this joke and thought of you:
A man walks into a butchers shop asks the butcher "Are you a gambling man?"The butcher says, "Yes". The man says, "I bet you fifty pesos that you can't reach up and touch that meat hanging on the hooks up there." The butcher looks up at the meat hanging on the hooks. He says, "I'm not betting on that". "But I thought you were a gambling man," the man retorts. "Yes I am," says the butcher, "but the steaks are too high".

"Hola Pedro, my new friend. Thanks for showing me the way!" "I love the chorizo with rocket my friend!"

this was found on the website using 'view page souce' when clicking on chalk board , looking at the bulls on top of the page looks like thay have hook shapes within them, any ideas?

Chalk board

Please don't jump down my throat (again) if this has been explored - I can't find anything about it...

The chalkboard in the film says "Carniceria Guzmam hay... SOMETHING. Can anyone make out what the other word might be? I my limited Spanish this translates as 'Guzmam butcher there SOMETHING'

I can't figure out what the last word is.

Hi greenjumper. I was also just looking at this...
I personally thought that the HAY was HAM, but this doesn't make sense, as it would be JAMON surely???
The word underneath could be ChORiZO (written in this mix of cases).

Just guessing! Smile

hay = "there is/are"

So it's like going to your local butcher and there being a specials board outside:

"bloggs Butchers - we have..." insert whatever is available here

I'm telling you, it's chorizo and the key to solve this whole damm thing might be Maurizio Chorizo who phones the radio and asks for his favourite song el elefante com la sangra de fauta or sth like it, AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I can't stand it anymore! LOL

A Board

It's definitely ham and the word underneath is likely to be chorizo.
The "bad" Spanish issue has been bemusing me for a couple of days. Why Jamon on the link on the Guzmam site but hamon in the caption to the picture, for instance?
I've also been trying to find an in-joke about Guinness (119500, arpa, etc) which might lead to a clue but so far, nada.
Oh well, at least I'm now getting paid whilst doing this.

JUAN RAMOS
DOMINO

JUST BLUE SKYING HERE BUT REAL HANG UP ON THIS DOUBLE 5

Any time a player plays a double on an exposed domino where the double is the same number as the exposed domino, the player calls "Chickie (Number)". For example, if a player played a double 5 on the end of a 6/5 domino they would lay it long side against the end with the 5 and call "Chickie Fives". No other dominos can be played until three more 5's are played against the double 5. The three dominos played against the double 5 are played on the long side opposite the side originally played. The end result will look like a chicken foot with the double 5 having one domino laid perpendicular to one side, and three more dominos on the opposite side, the middle being perpendicular and the other two at 45 degrees to perpendicular. Any player who does not have a 5 must draw a domino from the bone pile and either play it if it has a 5 or call "Pass". Once all three 5's are played, the next player may play any domino in their hand on any exposed end that matches. Play continues until a player is out of dominos or no player can make a legal play.

CHICKEN???????

Double 5
Just a thought

I tried searching for "Double 5" on Google and came up with a link to a Flickr photo. (Flickr came into one of the earlier clues). When you look at the photo, it is of a house and if you look closely just above the left hand window there is definitely a 3 visible. I might be clutching at straws but at this point I think we are all desperate enough to try anything.

One other thought (again maybe irrelevant) but the quote about Chorizo with Rocket, today is bonfire night and there will be rockets going off tonight so maybe something will unlock at 5 o clock on the 5th?

i was looking at the emails i received from the sites and the email: 'Out of office reply: Carnicería Guzmam' is the only one that does NOT have a link to the website on it.

could this mean anything?

(even the reply form the music site had a link and thats for a later clue)

The Arrow
Is it pointing to the numbers?

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and been reading all your theories with great interest. I've searched for this suggestion and not found anything so here goes.

It seems weird to me that the Carniceria Guzmam site isn't a sponsored link. So either Guinness were trying to save some money or the site isn't that important at all. So with that in mind I went back to the video. Bearing in mind the sign says HAM I looked at the ham in the video. The arrow points to what could be Guzmam, but it also points to the ham. Again I could be looking into this too much but I see numbers in the ham. In fact I see a lot of numbers in this area when using the magnifying glass. What I can't get is the right combination so more eyes might help, if indeed it is there.

On the brass instrument I see 89 clearly (when magnified) could also be 819. On the first ham I see 83. And on the second ham 88.

Also on the side wall of the Carniceria it looks like 86.

Maybe I am just seeing things???
