Hi there - thanks for posting & welcome to the forum if you haven't already been welcomed. I think by "Jen" you mean "Jamie" as in the character Jamie Lascano, right? If so, that's an interesting theory that she's incubating something in her body, Aliens-style, and that's why she's taking all of the medicine we see her downing in every video. Maybe Teddy impregnated her with monster-spawn? Its definitely possible that there is more than one monster, considering that we only know for sure that there is a big monster stomping around NYC.

Also, we're about 99.9% sure that in the trailer, they say "Where is Jason?", meaning Rob's brother Jason who also goes by the nickname Hawk. So far there isn't a character named Jen that we know of.
We'd love to hear your theories, and thanks for coming to the site, but rather than having to sift through all the old stuff on the forums you may want to check out some of these sites too:

1) The name of the movie.
There this only a couple of movies that marketed the
merchandised without the title on the products. I know of only one
to do it recently, successfully on T-shirts.
Do not be surprized to see Slusho on the end of the new trailer.
Besides Abrams is smart enough not to put a poor copy of the
trailer out there with a real title on it.

2) "Where is Jason?"
A thing with brothers and sisters is the bond between them. Both
J.J. and Hawk are nick names for Jason, Rob in a panic would
yell out a familiar name not the given name.

3) YMR is the key.

prove to be the key to a cure for the diseases that have plagued

The research YMR talkes about is real but what a plot for a movie
for this reseach to get out of hand.

I had another post on the bloop monster. But think about this, what
if YMR suddenly created a monster, it got out, and then was
distroyed before anyone found out about it. Explaining the one
time "Bloop Sound"

7) Cornbread
I will save that for another day.

I'm not bashing, #2 is just completely bunk.

I don't have a problem, or disagree strongly, with anything you said (we're all entitled to our own speculation) except this.

I have a younger sister whom I refer to by a nickname all the time, except when I'm being completely serious. In the type of situation depicted in the teaser I would most certainly be calling for her, and asking about her by her given name. I'm relatively certain she'd be calling for me by my name as well because it'd be pretty awkward if she was running around asking for me by the nickname she's given me.

Why do you assume that?

Watching the trailer, I get the impression that at least a few of the bored-looking peeps in the background at the party are crashers who probably don't even know Rob that well, let alone his brother.

And "Hawk" is used ONLY (so far) as a Myspace tag invented by Jason himself. I suspect that everyone else, including Lil and Rob, laugh their asses off every time he tries to refer to himself as "Hawk," like some damn street-lethal action hero or something.

Everyone prolly knows him as JJ or Jason.

If your friends only know you, or your sibling(s), by nicknames, they don't know you. Especially if your brother lives with you, and they're throwing a surprise party for you at your house.

 		I don't know it this was an attempt to bait me, but here's two points, because I'm bored and there's nothing going on right now.

1. We don't know who says the line "Where is Jason?" in the trailer. It comes from off-camera, so it also could be Hud (whose presence at that scene is actually confirmed b/c presumably he's holding the camera) or any of the random extras running around yelling things in that scene. In fact, when that line is said, the camera is actually pointed at Rob & Lily standing out on the street and Rob's mouth doesn't move at all, he's sort of standing there gaping at the destruction. So either this is craptastic editing by the big man himself, JJ Abrams, (which I seriously doubt) or someone other than Rob says this line.

2. Comments on Lily's page show that virtually all of his friends call him "Jason" not Hawk or JJ or whatever he calls himself:

Hud, who we think is a roommate with Jason/Hawk/JJ:
Jason ate my last snickers ice cream bar! I know it was him, don't try to cover for him again.

Marlena:
Hey girl! So much fun last night! After you left, Chin Strap asked for my number. I gave him Jason's.

Rob, Jason/Hawk/JJs brother and the alleged speaker in the trailer:
hey i told jason but i know he won't remember and or care, but his mom wants him to call his aunt peg

In summary, Rob does not even say "Where is Jen/Jason" in the trailer, and all of JJ/Hawk's friends appear to call him Jason in what amounts to casual conversation. Not that any of this is groundbreaking.

I think that is just a translation problem. Have you ever watched TV with the closed captions on? Iit doesn't always match up.

Also, the foreign subs are probably translated from the stereo mix, which is hard to tell what is being said. In the surround sound mix, you can clearly hear "Where is Jason" and "Where is Jeff".
