Confused

Arpa de taller's source talks repeatedly about clean your car

http://www.arenasdetiempo.com/# tells us to judge a book by it's cover

http://www.dominodorado.com/ told us about the new layout of 4 rooms from 6 (matchstick puzzle)

So YES!!!! I do think that they expected people to look at the source

You didn't need to go into the source to find that stuff; all those hints were on the text of the actual pages..

source code

i got there and i didn;t look at the source code.

i assume the guys at guinness would prefer to keep this as open as possible to a wide audience and going as far as deliving into the sourec code would probably be too much.

If you can get any hints from it though, please let us know.

adverts

I recall someone saying that on the Argentina Guiness site that an advert was password protected - well the same is on the UK if accessed through the Blog pages. cannot find it listed on the official site

http://www.guinness.com/row_en/ads/

I think it is the surfer ( tick tock.........)

It can however be accessed through :-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A767207

it includes Spanish horses, produced by Jonathan Glazer ( lots of music credits although could not tie in anything of his with the jukebox songs) & is their ( Guiness) most famous advert of all time and spawned the " good things come to those that wait"

OK I'M BORED.

I also found a comment on the web that someone was saying they had received a 2nd invite to the game from a different "ad" company ichameleon - the original came from AMVBBDO. I think ic are perhaps web builders for AMV? Chameleon is the first record on the juke box (Yo soy un camaleon) from the source code.

NOW I'M REALLY BORED

I'm not sure if they own the rights to the surfer advert or not. I know that some of their adverts they dont hence why some arent on the website.

Another angle

As I'm convinced the Guzmam site is dead meat -there's no references to Guinness anywhere unlike the Domino Dorido one, for instance, where the text may as well be on the main Guinness site- I've been thinking about the other sign. "Hospedaje" is translated by Google as "Hosting" so maybe we should be looking for a web host/service.
Has anyone already been down this road and come to a dead end?

Did have a bit of a look -think it translates as hospitality but not able to read the rest of the sign - nothing obvious.

Keep going back to Senor Ramon who implies more than one clue in the film - which film? I don't think he changes what he is saying for each film.

If you put into "hospedaje" into youtube you will see a site with El Dorado. On the Guzman site is "el dorado"!? Can't see 8 numbers and if you go to the website the telephone number does not work as the code but maybe I am missing something?

I've checked the DNS records for the Guzmam site and it's definitely the same as the other ones, ie owned by Diageo (the parent group that own the Guinness brand). They also use the same tracking system in this site as they do the others.

Hospedaje means "hosting" or "lodging", and at a stretch "hospitality". There is a "Dominio Hosting" however looking at the site and the DNS records, they are completely unconnected with this campaign, so is a dead end.

I did think this originally myself however after doing a bit of digging I'm satisfied that they are unconnected.

4 o'clock !!!

4 o'clock in the morning is when I finally gave up and went to bed.

I discovered the email (I should really check them more often) late last night (I'm in the UK) and started on this puzzle quest. I spent ages reading through all these posts. 72 pages !!! And I'm now up to Domino 8.

I can't see anything in this picture to give us a clue. any ideas? And it hasn't been used yet but it's now unlocked.
