Y'all have given us one hell of a ride, and I loved every minute of it.
Cheers!

I loved every second of this game! This was my first ARG, and I wanted to say thanks. But I realized something, in keeping with the Matrix style, this ended just like the movies. A lot of loose ends not tied, and a ton of people either loving it or hating it. I just noticed that similarity and had to say something, hey maybe it will change some people's minds and maybe it won't, but I just felt it needed to be said. This is probably my final post, so see you all on the outside.

I loved the films and loved the way they ended.
I found the films were new and different yet still having many classic elements to them.
I found this ARG was diappointing, and didn't save anything for the end game. Also, I found the story a cliched mess of untied threads, and not the intelligent detective mystery it at first lead us to belive it would be. Many pointless clues/arc.... WONGMO?
Even their flow diagram of releases reveals the fatal flaw.... they released too much, too soon... and because of that it didn't end on a bang, but a whimper.

Yes I agree with a lot of what you said, but you just have to remember the long hard hours of slaving over the computer saying, "What the hell does that mean???" I just loved it, and some people will not be swayed.
Okay last one

I was just feeling sentimental... saw "All your base are belong to us" somewhere, and instantly rememebered that sad, sad day of Nov. 22 *sniff*; decided to dig up this old thread, and realized it doesn't contain my explicit "thanks".
Reading all the recent meta stuff, I am constantly reminded of how awesome MU was - so THANK YOU guys for it; hope all of your endeavors - PM- and other- wise - always turn out as great as this one!

Indeed I could use something all encompassing and exciting like Mu again.
(I bitched about the ending at the time, but whilst it lasted the experience was like nothing else.)
Nice to still get the occasional unfiction "You are receiving this email because you are watching the topic".
Hurrah for project Mu and all who sailed in her.

If anyone wants to relive those magical moments, you can always go to Metaurchins.org , and read the book yanka has lovingly compiled, with help from many of you.

That book recap is AWESOME.
I have it printed out and saved in a three-ring binder right beside vpisteve's Jawbreak recap. I HIGHLY recommend it if you played the game.
