want a spoiler? here ya go (how to open the right way)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
so, you want to open it without cheating (the big bang Very Happy ) Well, im not even sure the first part is possible without the big bang......okay heres how....take your isis with the plunger down and move it around until the ball seems to go silent, flip it over and pound it until you hear a ball fall (I don't take any responsibility if you damage your isis) Now with the plunger on the left, so you can't really see it and the ball held so the rings go vertically, spin the ball towards you, so that the top comes towards you and the bottom goes away from you, rotate until the ball goes silent. Push in the plunger and yay, you've solved your isis

:(

Do you people not understand the point of the game it to see if people can figure it out themselves. This forum is filled with a bunch of morons wanting the answers handed to them, and idiots giving it to them. For all those who are offering infomation on how to open the ISIS you are screwing up your chances of getting a prize.

When The Sharper Image award zone started there were some people that were solving the riddles, now in a matter of a couple weeks due to forums like this over a hundred people are on the award zone.

Someguy, you got lucky because your description is partially wrong.

Pyroglyphics, brute force method.

I'm surrounded by a bunch of "free speech", "no secrets", "I can tell you how to open the ISIS cause I'm COOL" idiots. And that includes the ADMIN for not respecting the game.

And yes, I know what I'm doing is free speech.

re

if by brute force method you mean the big bang thing I wanna solve the encryptions first, even if i do need a bit of help.

In a less related topic, are you saying you're against free speech?

Its a simple substitution code. First letter "T".

No problem with free speech, just a problem with people giving secrets away, thinking that there should be no secrets. Same people that hate fraternities, freemasons, and knights of Columbus or any secret order.

Any when it comes to the ISIS the more people in the adventure the less of a chance you have for winning a prize. There is more competition against you. Would you rather compete against 100 people or a 1000?

Thats all I'm saying

How many of you guys have already opened it?

I also heard that there is a Isis ll coming out soon. So have I wasted my money on the first one? When is the second one coming out, anyone know?

The ISIS II is coming out the beginning of next year. There is going to be 5 puzzles in the series. Each puzzle you open you get a key. On ISIS 5 you will need the keys of all the ISIS puzzles to open it. The first person to open ISIS 5 is said to be awarded a great fortune. There will be only one winner in the end (thats why your don't reveal the secrets, this is one big competition).

So, to answer your question if you want a cool puzzle, you don't need to buy ISIS 1. If you want to be part of the ISIS adventure and go for the gold than YES you need to buy an ISIS 1. The ISIS 5 is said to be release in 2012, and will be a world wide release so everyone has the same chance no matter what time zone.

Thanks for the info ISIS983 but I heard that (and I don't know if this is true) all remaining Isis l don't have keys in them as it was costing too much to make them all.
Well I have mine coming soon, I'm just scared that I could open it and not find a key. As nice as it would be to win the whole Isis challange I'm just doing it for the fun but I don't see the point if there is no key inside, what would be the point of opening it?
Well if I do open it (I'm a bit slow) I'll let you know what I find.

You are correct SonicWarp doesn't include the keys anymore. When you open the ISIS there will be a serial number. You give infoSPLATsonicwarp.com that number any all you contact info and they will send you a key.

Good luck on the ISIS 1, and try to fingure it out on your own. I know I complain about people cheating, but I guess it won't matter in the end because the puzzles will get harder and harder. People are opening the ISIS 1 in one day, but the ISIS 5 is said to take even a genius a long time to figure it out.

If the ISIS I doesn't include a key then surely you can force it open? after all the key won't break. I'm not gonna do that though but i'm sure some people here will or have done
