Oh wow, I thought this was just a one-shot for Comic Con. That was a lot of fun (with everyone else in the office here at a meeting and me typing away at my computer, hoping no one called me over).
Rose, I'd be down for taking a picture in NYC, and could maybe get 1 or 2 other people to come. Let me know.

The "Over the Big Top" section of Rory's Death Kiss has now been updated with a list of "Today's overachievers," a list of 7 screennames written like Mr. J's ransom notes.
Anything significant about those people?

I showed this to konashark and he suggested "They could be anagrams".
/me is verklempt - he's turning into an ARGer.
However, these are nicks from folks who have top picks on the various pages. Maybe their locations are a puzzle? Are they sending more photos?
Speaking of more photos - what's the plan for Las Vegas on Saturday?

The plan so far (not thinking it'll change either) is meeting in the North parking lot at Excalibur @ 10:30a (near the sign on Tropicana). We can get our smiles on there, and then head over to take the picture(s). I've got calls to make today to confirm attendance.
Think I should contact Mrwalken? I've checked out his myspace.

Where are people getting those awesome clown masks? Like the guys in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre, those are awesome masks!
By the way, I'm totally excited, I'm going out tonight to buy Arkham Asylum: Serious House on Serious Earth. I've wanted to get it for so long!!! Anyone here read it?

We just had Halloween. There were probably lots of masks at the Walmart or Target.
But the Joker isn't about a mask. He has a distinct face that is easily created with costume makeup. I got mine at a Walgreens from the Halloween rack (on Wed Oct 31st at 9p). Might still be able to find some at a 99 cent store or a hobby store. White face makeup (pancake makeup) and red & green (or black) "pencils" is what I used (the green is really dark). Those who did their hair just used spray-on hair color.

Ok. I wasn't insinuating that I was going to wear one of those, I just thought that they bore a resemblance to the ones that the Joker's goons were wearing in some of those photos that got released.
I understand that the Joker isn't about masks. He's pretty much the antithesis of Batman, who's all about masks.

Well, looks like that poor pumpkin didn't make it after all. Rest in peace, little guy.

Any prizes to the overachievers? More ARG fodder... Have any of the top overachievers on Rory's Death Kiss received any rewards in the mail, via e-mail, or via phone? This could be a link to another section of the pre-game...

Hey, kinda off topic, but I've been reading the Associated Press on my Wii lately and it looks like part of the movie is going to take place in Hong Kong. Batman is somewhere outside Gotham in one of his movies now. And I don't count the whole Ra's al Ghul training in...I think it was...China? That was Bruce before he was Batman.
Sorry if anyone already knew that, but I just had to tell someone.
P.S. Even more off-topic, but does anyone know where I can get an avatar pic?

Hey Doc.
A lot of Batman Begins took place outside of Gotham. Hong Kong is being used, but I think only for a back drop as some run-down part of Gotham. That's what I'd read, IIRC.

Verified you cannot submit more than 1 photo per username/email (I had to use konashark for this submission).
I hope 42Entertainment enjoys the inside joke. Here are the others we took this morning.

I believe those are the masks that were given away at the San Diego scavenger hunt.

I see what you mean, Ecks. You're probably right. I'll have to check my facts. But if it is true, it'll mark the first time that Batman ventured out of Gotham in the movies as Batman .
I guess we'll just have to watch the movie to find out for sure.
Here's hoping!
