btw, Rogi it's SOL which is either the club in NYC or Statue Of Liberty possibly

Gotcha.
I was referencing SpaceBass' post on Despoiler.org

And "SOL" in Base10 = 37173, so that's a bust in numerous ways.

Despoiler's envelope had "a New York postmark and a return address listed only as "SOU NY" (I think)" (note no comma). From the scans we've seen it seems the PM has pretty bad handwriting. Maybe we could talk SpaceBass into scanning his envelope for us?

Thanks! Smile

Huh... Yeah, bad handwriting. Could just mean South NY. Too bad our other DVD recipient (the UK one) is away from email and probably tossed his envelope anyway.

Mirror, can you not get Quicktime to work? For the blip.tv vids, I had to download QT, the do the dropdown menu on the blip.tv page and click "source - .mp4". They never would play in Flash, which is what it kept trying to do by default.

It's too bad that there are only borders of the puzzle found so far, if we find one from the inside we may be able to see what word or number the pieces spell out

And thank you nobuofanxiii

long term lurker here... thought i'd throw in my two cents although i maybe way off--first time i made a comment, way back, i was punched in the head with a trout...so go easy on me Smile

first off, i completely agree that the girl in the ripped photo and the one in "is she still alive" is one and the same...the nose, the hairline, the eyebrow arch, figure, etc...

and i also agree that it says SOL not SOU--and I'm going to make a case that is stands for the Statue of Liberty--although i may be way off base here (isshealive has a vid of the sol filmed at either dawn (dead at dawn??) or sunset): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz4ZgqS2-lQ

other comments

"i can see past skin"...could also be read "I can see past SK in..."--the in seems a lot lower and why have the K capitalized? messy handwriting..yes...but...?

also Mark's last name is really odd--Terginian???

maybe there's something to it

the bottles lined up in "waked up trapped" seems rather OCD

and lastly:

what the hell does the ripped girl have her hands resting on in the photo...candle holders?? odd??

p.s. I'm still having problems watching any of the vids not on youtube Sad

well, now that we have proof

i'd like to add a plausible connection

in isshestillalive's vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irF9AZaKDZo

she--presumable the girl--says "put posters in the university(s) so that people can apply to be in the film"

since Mark is a third year psych student, there is a possible connection there between the two--perhaps he applied to be in the documentary--hence the interview of him

if we can't find a university nearby perhaps a psych ward?

Thinking about Mark's last name -- Terginian

I had a thought, but need help thinking it through. Maybe Terginian is like Virginian meaning from Virginia. So his name is from Terginia or Tergin. This could be a wild goose chase.

Looks like it could be something, I dunno. That IS a weird last name like someone stated but it could be just that. Naming people sucks nowadays all the good ones are taken (Willy Wonka!)

You can use flip4mac to play your wmv files on quicktime aswell. http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_playerpro.htm
As for opening exe files, there's a new Mac OS on the market, called Leopard, you should look into it.
I'm just passing by.
