I still have a feeling that they'll release a load more info when we think we've hit a dead end and are losing interest, a.k.a now (*hint hint wink wink nudge nudge*)

I'm talking to you Bad Robot!

If I had a dollar for every time I'd hoped that.... but my patience is wearing thin now, after about the umpteenth time this has happened.

the marketing has definitely slowed down to an almost stand still at a time when you would think it was speeding up.
the slusho seven have not even signed on to their myspaces in over a month... unless that is some how a clue? maybe they have all been kidnapped, being held at the pearl station and are being force fed slusho to be monster bait, only to have their memories wiped and they find themselves at rob's party....

All in all, everything they've done since the trailer has been pretty poorly executed and I have to admit, I'm really disappointed with the way they've handled this whole thing. This is compounded by the fact that almost everyone associated with this movie is forced to pretend it doesn't exist so we have NO idea what to expect. It would be so much better if they just said "Look, you're not getting an ARG, we're not updating the myspace pages anymore due to the writers strike, the next trailer will be Dec 9th, and we hope you'll still come see the movie." At this point, that would make me happier, since right know I feel like they're just jerking us around.

Amen! I just made a post in a different thread pretty much saying the same thing. If the type of marketing that was planned for this film is being held up by the WGA strike, just say so! Abrams dropped an e-mail to AICN back in early July when everyone thought the Ethan Haas site was related to clarify that it was not. Why can't he (or someone else involved in the film) do the same thing about the WGA strike and this promotion.

My only hope that it is still continuing as planned is because of the total lack of any info or announcement. By saying nothing, it may mean it's still a go. Shocked

Depression...

Should be the movie's title. Cause thats what we are in, a state of depression. But some of us are in too far to just get out. At least tomorrow well know if there is a trailer before Beowulf.
