LOL! Brainfart! At the bottom of the flash there are two graphics. One of a Quidditch player, the other of the golden snitch. Click on the player.
EDIT: I just noticed the non-flash doesn't have password options. Probably because the passwords redirect to flashes.

They've put up no updates at the-hogwarts-experience.blogspot.com so it MAY be from them but I don't think so.

Doesn't Look Official Copyright Law Cries Did a bit of research.
First, the Wikipedia article, which claims that neither JK Rowling or Warner Brothers are endorsing this project (which also likely means that the site's owners now have a couple of "Cease and Desist" letters in their mailbox.
Secondly, despite hidden Whois lookup info, the video is pulled off the servers of a company called "Speedbump Studios" ( http://speedbumpstudios.com/ ). This wouldn't be particularly notable except if you looked over their demo video (which shows that their either have a TON of licenses with copyrighted material, or they rip off a lot of IP). In addition, they've got a Futrama page up that seemingly isn't authorized, but looks like the real deal: http://www.speedbumpstudios.com/futurama/
Either Warner and JK have done an excellent job keeping what looks like a big secret in the bag, or these guys are doing an unauthorized rip-off. It'll be interesting to see how this develops. I can't imagine the copyright owners will be pleased.

According to Clairvoyantwank (don't ask) this is related to fanfic by an author known as "G. Norman Lippert" (who just so happens to be the guy behind Speedbump Studios)
"G Norman" posted "James Potter and the Hall of Elders Crossing" on ff.net, although the story has recently been taken down.
Therefore, my assumption is this is not the Hogwarts Experience project.

Well if it is unofficial and they are infringing on certain copyrights, I guess I won't be hanging around for this one.
Damn shame too.

hmm... Just because they aren't endorsing the project doesn't mean they weren't asked permission first. I've worked in different sorts of projects (not ARG related, but still.. It involved using and altering copyrighted information), and we would just send them formal requests to use and sometimes even alter pieces of their work. They would send back their reply, usually a thumbs up. We'd just have to credit them and mention if any changes were made. The copyright holders never publicly supported what we were doing, or really mentioned any of it to outside sources...
This page seems to have the appropriate credits, which wouldn't have been put up at all if they were ill-knowledged or lazy.. So methinks they might have been granted permission, possibly. Or they will soon be shut down, we'll have to see.
