[META][INFO] review of the trailer Alright well basically the traile was the way that the guy from chud.com said but it was slightly different. Its a fast forwarded version of the first trailer the it showed the characters walking through the city. And seeing things getting destroyed such as helicoters buildings etc. Then the characters walk into the subway and see 2 shadows of what one can tell as tiny monsters. The trailer ends says produced by JJ Abrams and the title is Cloverfield. Ill edit this when I see it again 2night and ill will try 2 include any dialog. THANKS

No, I believe one of his friends saw it or something like that.
Either way. It sounds interesting.

But does it open the same?
Does it have that text in the beginning like they said on CHUD?
Is the title Cloverfield?...
I'm not expecting answers, actually. I can wait. I have been avoiding the forums to wait for big updates. The 4th Jamie video thing is cool (though seems pointless) the Happy talk simply means there's still some life to the ARG/E... oh well
I am planning on watching Beowulf tomorrow, or at latest Friday. So, i may avoid looking at spoilers about the trailer before then. I'd rather watch it and help analyze rather than speculate details and only interpret what someone said happened in it...
So if I get home Friday Night, and no one has a good transcript of it, I'll post mine. Either way, if its there, I'll definitely be on here going through every detail...
(Maybe I'll bring my camera and record a copy)

If this guy saw the trailer and he has posted here already and, obviously, he is not BS-ing, then I would say that it will be on YouTube in about 15 mins.

Hey OP, are you willing to stake your membership here on the accuracy of your post? Meaning, if on Friday (or whenever the trailer gets released) it is different than what you described, you will go away from these forums forever? Obviously, if you are right, feel free to come back and I will personally thank you for your insight. But I'm curious - are you willing to take this bet now?

Where and how did you see it? because it would probably make me a bit less suspicious.
BTW, keep watching youtube, as there has been a few reports like this now and it wont be long before it turns up on youtube.

Please and Thank you to whoever can do it.

possible breakthrough:
19 hours ago, an account called cloverfield posted a video named something along the lines of new jj abrams cloverfield trailer. However account has since been closed and the video removed. Looks like this was our trailer, we just didn't get there fast enough.
Keep watching, someone may repost it.

I'm not so sure about that... I saw what you are talking about, but something is fishy.
The username is NOT cloverfield -- it is cioverfield (the i is capitalized, so it looks like an L)
Plus, the screen shot that shows for the video is from the old trailer, and it is tagged as a "comedy" video.

YouTube TIP: if any DOES have the video, and is planning on putting up on YouTube....
DO NOT use the words Paramount, Cloverfield, 1-18-08 , etc in the title, description, or in the tags. This makes it WAY to easy for Paramount to find it and have it removed. They will probably be watching YouTube like a hawk!
Of course, that will make it harder for random people to find it too, but just put a link to it here at Unfiction, and more people will be able to see it before it is taken down.

That's assuming someone at Paramount isn't reading these forums, and I am pretty sure that they are.

assuming that paramount doesn't. Have someone watching the major 1-18
-08 websites for people posting links to the trailers. Might be better off watching the apple site (BTW anyone know how long it takes to youthbe content to be converted to the iPhone format? My linksys bit the dust having to use edge network on my iphone to look up stuff and post)
