2nd IM from Roddington: we need to figure out the OE codes

I wrote to Roddington blaming myself for not warning them sooner. His reply:

Quote:
Dear Rose,
Please do not blame yourself for doing what you felt was right. If you had misgivings about your interpretation of the codes, then you had every right to hold back in letting the boys know of your suspicions. After all, they had access to the codes as well and could have used TOBI to translate them.
You cannot dwell on the "might have beens" and although losing both Marty and Jude have struck me to the heart, we must focus. They were like sons to me, but they would not have wanted us to linger on their unfortunate demise; instead to use it to our advantage in some way. Keeping ourselves safe for the moment is the first way to do so.
I cannot express my appreciation for the work that you did on trying to interpret the codes. We underestimated their value and have all lost much because of that. This burden does not rest on your shoulders alone, however, and we must all come together to prevent further devastation. Certainly, we must figure out the codes to do so. Perhaps, with time, I can gain some insight and come up with a plan of action that will aid all of us in fighting back. Until then, rest assured that your work was not in vain.
