Haven't bothered to zoom on that, but...
A horse carriage calmly going along the street whilst people are fleeing a monster attack. A monster is in the city roaring and destroying, explosions...
Any horse I've been around would be scared @%&#less and be taking that carriage for a hardcore ride.

The dialog is almost verbatim lifted from the CHUD article.

The shots with 'Rob' at the beginning don't appear to use the same actor.
Maybe that's why we don't see and hear the talking head shots of Rob explaining the footage?

Do I seem a little skeptical?

Well we'll find out for sure tomorrow if that is the real trailer.

I agree that the whole feel of this thing is suspiciously unlike the first trailer, but I dunno... gotta wait and see for real tomorrow I guess.

About the horse & carriage calmly going through the street - that's not a big deal; in fact, it's sort of a cliche. I've seen more than one war movie where a horse and carriage will trot out of the mist/smoke and just amble by some shocked soldier(s). You know, a surreal event in the chaos, that sort of thing. Besides, it looked like they were far from any immediate destruction at that point in the trailer... or, possible trailer.

Also, the sudden afro could be the result of quick cutting between different aspects of the party, coupled with the crappy quality of our 'trailer' clips.

The fact that we don't see Rob's face is suspicious - that would be something that couldn't be faked, right? I mean, if we actually see one of our actors doing something that wasn't in the original trailer, that would confirm its legitimacy. But, that part where Rob supposedly talks into the camera is missing. HURM....

First off, thanks dalphx for the hook up...This Movie Is Gonna Sick! So intense. But yes, the entrance scene has changed, I figure the original trailer was rushed to fit before transformers and actors/characters weren't concrete yet. They are probably going to use this scene in the movie a bit, so they redid it with the real actors/actresses in the final feature.

The horse and carriage is a funny scene. I think its supposed to show the calm in all the destruction. The horse and carriage without a driver just running around the city...well done. I really gotta see this in good quality. This plays before Beowulf?

Most people never looked into what the movie actually was after they saw the first trailer. And since they didn't have a name the first time they put the familiar clips from the first one in this trailer so people would at least have an Idea of what the movie was.

Anyways, freaking awesome trailer. Can't wait for HD.

Except that the one being filmed is still walking away at a good pace, as is the cameraman. The roar at Rob's place was heard from lower Manhattan. It also shook the ground enough to seem like an earthquake throughout the city. I think that would've been heard by the horse. Also, if there's a state of emergency, wouldn't there be police ordering slow moving carriages off the streets?

That fro is pretty clearly visible through the whole shot of that person. The entrance in this alleged leak is completely restaged.

Except that would mean that the MySpace with Rob in it has the wrong actor. They rushed the trailer in the beginning and carried on with the same wrong actor in making the MySpace, AND that same wrong actor was in the shoot in Central Park?

Edit: BTW NYC5, 3gp is not a Quicktime originated codec. It's a format developed for use with 3G cellular phones for video. I think someone was trying to use the codec to help be plausible, but that 'phone' is rock steady in the same place for all 3 clips. Media Player Classic should play this for you, and if you get the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack just about any media player on your system should be able to as well.

I think the actor playing the role of Rob has been consistent from start to current. Its not Rob I think they need to fix. Its Jamie, the blond girl in the original trailer was supposed to be Jamie, but they went with this one after. Must have been the need to make these viral videos on jamieandteddy.com that the original actress didn't want to do or something another. The myspace pictures have people resembling each character, but it just isn't them. I figure they redid the opening trailer cause they needed to include the new actors per the new roles for the real movie...Just a theory, but Rob looks the same. Kinda different in your freeze frame, but who knows with crap quality, ya know...

Kind of a rant, but if you understand me then its all good...
