http://brickshelf.com. It takes a while to upload and I'm pretty sure you have to get a account first. But you can get the video at Top quality when you upload it there. Its usually a place to host your LEGO pictures but you can upload videos there.

CloverfieldClues suggested sending it to him to host directly on his blog.

Personally, since I'm a video ninja Wink , I wouldn't even bother with YouTube. If someone sends me a copy of the trailer (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), I'd convert it to FLV myself, and host it directly.

But really, what was that horse carriage? It looks very freaky rolling over Zebra crossing.

I think it was just a horse and carriage abandoned by its driver, voluntarily or involuntarily. I assume it's just meant as a poignant symbol of the city under massive attack, lives being overturned, and the complete loss of normalcy.

The phrase used in the intro frame "US 447 area formerly known as Central Park", suggests that the destruction will be so wholesale that Central Park is no more. For that matter, as big as Central Park is, that doesn't bode well for the whole of New York City.

One other inference I draw from the site designation U.S. 447, is that the destruction may well be global, and that sites in the United States have a US prefix, whereas sites in other countries would have a different prefix. I know this is a big stretch, and so far is based on an unconfirmed trailer, but it did cross my mind.

One other observation: The folks who have seen this refer to shadows of "small monsters" attacking a woman. The shadows that I see in that scene in this leaked trailer don't look like monsters to me. They look like people in hazmat suits. The angles and distances involved are clearly distorting their shadows and those of the woman(?), but this looks more like someone in a hazmat suit to me. Given that there were some references (long ago) to the monster being called a "parasite", it may well be this woman is infected in some way by the "parasite", and so the people treating and/or subduing her need to wear such suits to protect themselves from infection.

Ah, it's fun to speculate...

Euchre, I'm behind you 100 percent on this one.

I smell Eau de Fakety McFake all over the place.

Granted, it's *fairly* elaborate for a hoax, but nothing that a few hundred bucks and some decent video editing couldn't put together.

Fact is, there's NOTHING in this "trailer" that screams "authentic."

1) DEFINITELY not Michael Stahl-David (Rob) in the "new" trailer.
2) DEFINITELY not the same guy who walked in with Rob in the first trailer. Fro Guy.
3) The SOL head scene seems to be lifted directly from the first trailer, with a poorly edited fireball added above the skyscraper this time for "variety."
4) That doesn't even SOUND like TJ Miller (Hud) or Michael Stahl-David (Rob) in the new trailer.
5) No logos, no indication at all that this is from Bad Robot or Paramount or anyone else.
6) Not even a date, or a "from JJ Abrams" or anything to even SUGGEST that this is actually a MOVIE, unlike the first trailer.
7) The fact that "Cloverfield" has not been TMed as a title anywhere yet by Paramount, or Bad Robot, or anyone else.
Cool The fact that the "trailer" has been up on Youtube ALL DAY. If this was legit, Paramount would be ALL OVER IT like white on rice, and Youtube would have shut it down long since.
9) The fact that NONE of the known actors appear in the "trailer." Not even a HINT of a face.
10) The shot of the carriage could be made ANY time. Even right now. Just get your girlfriend to walk with you to Central Park, pay the driver 20 bucks to step out of the carriage for a sec to film the carriage walking without driver or passenger. Nothing could be simpler.
11) Most of the other shots could be made easily enough either from (a) some "borrowing" from other similar scenes in movies, then blurring the hell out of them to make them virtually unrecognizable (yeh, pretty much describes this whole "trailer") or (b) some fairly cheap 'n' easy "sets" could be created to simulate a crashing helicopter.
12) The SOL pic was the only "hard" one to make. And it's easy enough to edit out her head with some decent video editing...wouldn't take long at all.

My suspicion: the guys at CHUD or wherever have concocted a fairly elaborate fake trailer. Still, this wouldn't have cost them more than a few hundred bucks, tops, out of pocket to create.

Nothing REMOTELY professional or believable about this.

Again, I don't believe this "trailer" is legit for one second, but yeah, the whole "case designate 'Cloverfield'" and "US 447 area formerly known as Central Park" goes against everything that has ever been even *possibly* linked to the movie.

That blurb at the beginning suggests MULTIPLE, GLOBAL attacks, probably simultaneously. That NYC is now so unrecognizable that Central Park is completely gone. That the US is only one of many places that has been attacked. That there are so many monsters that this particular one is given a "case designate" codename of "Cloverfield."

IF...and this is one big, frickin', huge IIIIIIFFFFF....the trailer is legit, then based on what I surmised above, I can only come to one conclusion:

...the oldest rumors are the truest: This movie is about "Rampage: the Video Game." Rolling Eyes

I gotta be honest, this seems real legit to me...I have my reasons, which may not be many, but are good enough for me to call this real. First, the army suit the guy is wearing in the trailer is identical to the one seen in picture #4 on 1-18-08.com. I know the website is hard to remember, due to its lack of use anymore...but the suit is one and the same. Second, the actual theater the video is recorded in seems like the real deal. This honestly looks like a crappy recording of the new trailer in the theater...

The problem with it not sounding like Hud's voice, well it probably isn't. I'm sure people take over camera duties...I'm willing to bet Hud dies and someone takes his camera, like hawk. Also, it may not look like rob in that single freeze frame, but it looks like him when the trailer is played on.

I can see that the quality and differences from the last trailer make it different to believe this is real, but I think it will be confirmed...I honestly do.

The 6 minute roar on 1-18-08.com just freaked me out...Im done

Hey everyone, been lurking since the summer and finally decided to join in on the mayhem.

Dont get me wrong, i've been dying for the second trailer to come out, but there's something about this one that doesnt feel 'legit.' It's certainly put together in a decent enough way to look genuine, but it wouldnt surprise me if it is a fake trailer even put out by paramount itself.

The thing which really makes me suspicious is when we hear "Whatever is it, its winning." It sounds like its a cheap voiceover done by your average Joe. Personally, I just dont think it fits the bill.

Just my thoughts...

I just watched the trailer on Youtube. I had wanted to avoid it until we get something more official, but I couldn't resist...

I'm torn as to it's legitimacy. Some parts seem ridiculously fake (the voice acting throughout is atrocious) but others seem more likely to be legit (the end logo being animated, the view of the SoL headless). However, it's not impossible to have put together the animated title, nor is it too out of the realm of possibility that someone faked the footage of the headless SoL. If I were going to fake it, I would simply take the poster, and make an animation of it moving out to the side, to simulate moving past it in a helicopter (if someone wants to look at it more in depth, try to pay attention to stationary details to see if this is how it was done).

I give it a 30% chance of being real. And if it is real...then the budget for this movie is going to show in poor acting. So let's hope it's fake.

the trailer was recorded in 3 near-20-second segments, which were not right after each other. the recorder had to record, save, record, save, etc. which explains the strange cutting of the trailer. it was recorded with a cellphone.

The thing that strikes me as strange is, if this was filmed on a cellphone, then surly the picture would be all wobbly and all over the place. The shot is a constant angle throughout which could only be achieved on a tripod.

Something doesn't seem right here...
