New Orleans sounds sweet. I've always wanted to visit.

RedHatty's in an excellent position within the local environment in New Orleans to get everything setup for us if New Orleans is selected. I'm not local to New Orleans, but I do have quite a few connections there that can assist with various things (especially food...)
There are several positives with New Orleans.
First if we run a small game - the game may be able to focus on something that can help the region, and our group meeting in the area will definitely help the economy (not as much as other things, but it would).
The food in New Orleans is amazing, as are the umm extracurricular activities for the day after all the normal events. We can schedule ghost tours.. I believe they still do tours that show the extent of devastation.. oh yeah and umm Bourbon Street??
... New Orleans would definitely be my first choice by far

I could help with New Orleans, too. I'm in Houston, but I'd be glad to visit NOLA on weekends to help organize things.

That's something I'd be willing to do as well - a few trips down to ensure RH has everything well in hand.. the wife wouldn't mind at all and I can use taking the kids to the aquarium or something as an excuse...

Well whoever makes the ultimate decision, you have a volunteer team ready to go in the Big Easy If you don't decide to have it here, at least you know that if you ever do, you have a team of volunteers at your disposal
