Maybe, those "monsters" behind the tarp thingy that are backlit look pretty darn humanoid to me. They are definitely standing upright.

I had the same exact thoughts when i was watching it too... it's like abrams convered everything together...

a little side note too...

It was sooo cool to see rob (cuz i didnt see beth) and lily and hawk and u def. hear jamie i think she says "you cannot go into the middle of the city!" so that was honestly the coolest part!!

This is terribly geeky of me, but can anyone put it on MegaUpload or RapidShare or something so I can have something to watch while I'm visiting relatives next week?

Also, Hooray for Cloverfield. I like that the name is so... gentle. Like, oh, "clover field," this will be a happy movie. NOT. Misleading title = yay.

 		I'm just not seeing the impalement everyone is talking about. It looks to me like 2 guys in hazmat suits pulling along a woman in handcuffs. The first time I watched, it looked as if they were cutting off her head. Shocked But I don't that that's what is happening.

Around 1:34, with what looks to be Marlena walking, we hear a noise and she asks "what's that". The sound is a buzzing, insect like noise, totally different from the roar. I'm gonna listen again...could possibly be an approaching helicopter?

 		At the end, the credits list the names of the actors and actresses. All of the (God, I hate referring to them as the) "Slusho 7" are accounted for, except for JAMIE LASCANO.

Right after she said "Whats that" you see that blinking red light (eye?) again, can anyone get a stillframe of it to see if there's anything behind it?

 		at 1:37 it flashes something in a red looking space suit
for like one flash you can see it and its just standing there with what looks like a big cork screw in its hand

it's marlene and idk if u can see it but lily is walking in front of her... its kinda dark... and u do hear some buzzing noises too...

I am agreeing with the other people more on this, it does look like two humanoids (much bulkier than the human in the middle) taking off the person's head if you watch it slowly, it looks like there is space in between the head and the body for a split second. Also, as far as water rushing in, I think thats just glass flying in. And it looks like HUD bites it in the Subway, cause rob is standing in front of turnstyles when he runs back towards our cameraman yelling "HUD!!!!"

 		I listened again, it doesn't sound like a helicopter, more like the whistling noise the SoL head made when it was thrown...maybe grumpypants got his hands on another national landmark to toss around Razz
