1:32 to 1:36, there are your best quality mini-grumpypants, I am sure of it. Red eyes.

OOHH SHHH.... Yeah its two of them with three lights for eyes(in a triangle form), do you see how theyre walking like robots, swaing from side to side. Shocked

Yeah, I wrote that, but throw a little doubt in there until a high-quality Apple trailer goes up. I looked at the Quicktime copy of the bootleg because others said it was car taillights, and at this point I'm just not sure.

another thing i noticed watching live that u might not be able to tell from the quality of the trailer is the scene in the beginning from the teaser when the SoLs head comes crashing down... the head looked WAYYY and i mean WAYYY more realistic... it def. looked like they did some editing for the specific older scene...

One other thing I noticed is that in the new trailer, once the head comes to rest, either it or something it's resting on explodes. In the teaser, it just sat there with the guy's voice repeatedly screaming "Oh, my God!". I don't suppose it means much; probably just that they had time to finish the effects and tossed in another explosion for good measure. Hollywood loves a good explosion.

It's the streetlight the head rolls into, in the original trailer as it's coming to a stop a nearby streetlamp is starting to topple over... but is cut off by the titles, whereas here we've seen more of that sequence including the small explosion as the lamp shatters.

I don't like the fact that they are swaying back and forth. I get scared easily and that's just freaky. I beleive the trailer should be up soon. hopefully it is up by the time I get back from school.

If anyone wants I can get about 1000-5000 screencaps from the HD trailer when it comes up. I can post the ones I think are interesting.

Devil's Advocate

I looked (truly I did) and didn't see this. If it has been posted, keep in mind that I am a fangirl, so be nice!

Maybe the people holding the girl aren't in hazmat suits after all. They are blue, so they might just be "placeholders" that will be changed into the digital monsters in post.

I have never seen a blue hazmat suit, although I am by no means an expert, as the closest I have been to one is the opening credits of the Simpsons (or maybe AIM agents in my comics).

I think placeholders are usually in skintight suits usually. But i have never seen blue hazmat suits either so who knows. Wish we could see the face of one.

This is going to be one great movie!

If it were for colour separation overlay I believe the suits would be green, and skintight. Admittely blue has been used for CSO but it seems to be the less likely used one compared to green.

I think they are meant to be army personell in hazmat suits rather than placeholders for monsters.

Been replaying the scene with the mosaic over the soldier's face. I wonder who is behind the editing. Was this done by the military after the incident, assuming they want to protect the identities of the soldiers involved? Or was it done by J.J., maybe there is a big clue he doesn't want us to catch on to. Maybe the soldier is a recognizable face that could give away clues to the movie.

Maybe it's Greg Grunberg? Very Happy

It looks they are homemade or makeshift "hazmat" suits made out or blue tarps. MacGyver would be proud!

Doh! Ha! OK, that makes sense. Sorry about the confusion.

Yes, Kraker truly got screwed.

I believe the repeated OMGs are a reference to the sound you hear behind the famous footage from the park looking up to the second plane impact on 9/11

Hud's "death"

I'm not so convinced that Hud dies in the trailer... he could have fainted. or been knocked down. I wouldn't find it so strange that someone faints after these events.

Me either, but a quick perusal of Google Images reveals several fashionable blue hazmat suits.

THESE ARE NOT FROM THE MOVIE:

at least the hazmat suits weren't day-glo orange. Or Tye-Dye. Or rainbow colours. <---- Not meant to be a gay joke, because, you know, I'm one of the gays.
