looks like its rob but in a different angle and with a different escort, maybe this footage is taken by one of the extras in that scene and he edited it into the trailer with himself passing as the escort guy?

I almost forgot about that guy (where the hell is he...??)
he doesnt have a Myspace? No Viral stuff with him in it?

He had one of the most memorable lines in the original trailer... i'd think he was more important... Sad

But yea, you seems right on the money with that...
but did he escort Rob in the Original Trailer? Why the change? Are they deciding to make him more important?

well, they put out the first one kinda under a crunch (they werent even done filming, but Paramount wanted it to show in front of Transformers)

sooo... maybe things werent worked out yet in the script, and they decided to give someone (like $11 guy) a larger role, or a different role...

now that they finished filming, they know exactly who does what, and he happens to escort Rob instead of the other guy (so they had to re-film it and decided to use it in the official trailer)...

they do that all the time too (re-write the part to make it less/more significant)

I think the $11 dollar / best nite ever guy is gonna die at the start or well at least quite early ..thats why hes got no myspace etc... still a very good character i m sure.

Aha! Arent you guys wondering why it is so clear at first but when it gets to the sol exploding part, the quality of the images decreases? Pretty clever using the opening part of the first trailer.. thats why I thought there was 2 versions of trailer#2
