[SPEC] Different Types of Little Monsters

It's really quite a simple theory about the small monsters. In the trailer we see some sort of bear or humanoid like monster impale a woman. We also see scratches on the character's arms in new pics. This could be one of the small monsters dropped off the main creature. The second could be one that flies. In the subway you hear the fluttering of wings like a humming bird or dragon fly. This could be a different type of creature, or maybe just the noise the small bear like ones make. But I think it could be a different type and there could be many types.

Sorry but I do not think there are any small monters. The impale sceen you speak of was people in Bio Haz suits. If anything people are infected. IMO

Even if people are infected, they would then Turn into what could be described as "Little Monsters". So, by saying you think people are infected, you are also saying you believe there will be little monsters...

Also, If the water bear theory holds out, or at least becomes partially true, there are over 750 types of water bear, so these little monsters or people that turn into little monsters could be of a wide array or shapes and sizes. I've seen micro-photos of some water bears with tentacles and some with just long claws & teeth like knives. Very peculiar creature.

I don't see why infected is the same as little monster. It could be a disease liek infection. People do not turn into monsters, they simply bleed and die, or explode.

Maybe, It could be microscopic water bears like creatures that tear people from the inside. That would be creepy.

Not agreeing, buuuuuuut....

The deep sea nectar brought great changes, at least in a sort of unfounded way, to everyone it's touched so far. Noriko having ingested it, became the whale, either figuratively or literally. I think it may have increased Ganu's inherent nature, and increased his intellect and introversion. It may be that at the outset we see a few small parasitic creatures that have fed and mutated off of the initial creature. From there, the infection could exponentially increase through contact wounds, inhalation of gaseous discharge(the creatures roar, at close range, would probably spray a great deal of saliva into the surrounding air, and float down on air currents.) Possible interaction between the creatures(multiple, but few) at the beginning, combined with the ingestation of Slusho by people, and the way it metabolizes differently in each individual case, could cause everything from E bola- like symptoms, to out and out mutation in some cases, depending on the individuals immune system. The folks who've been ingesting DSN for a while( the 7 may have had their hands on it for weeks) would be natural attractants to the initial few creatures, and from there, it could spread and mutate as quickly, and with varied results, as a persons movement, or air currents.

The white powder on Lena Diamond could have been the dried residue of some type of discharge, which she breathed in. In her photo section on myspace, she seems to be wearing some type of nebulizer helmet, or asthma treatment mask. Could be that the reason she reacted so quickly and went "pop" is because of her deficiency in mucus membrane, and acute asthma. Everyone that breathes or comes in contact with Slusho and DSN fueled creatures could be suspect.

*phew*

Can we also use this thread to put to rest the rumor/theory that there are monsters attacking someone (impaling/beheading/etc) silhouetted behind the 'sheet'? These are men in biohazard suits.

Agreed, they are bears in biohazard suits.

Shocked

NOTE: I agree that infection doesn't imply "little monsters," nor does it rule it out.

[SPEC] I think this movie is going to be intense. Perhaps too intense.
