I think its Rob. Look 1 to 2 seconds later and you see the shirt turn around and it looks like Rob. Marlena, Lil, and Rob are all looking to the sound

I seriously think it's something else. Look at the way it walks. It's arms are way out to its side and it sort of lumbers along.

Although, at the same time it could definitely be Rob. It freaked me out when I first saw it, though.

Monster sighting?

This isn't a definitive theory, just something I'd like to point out.

There has been a lot of focus on the one "monster appearance" between the two buildings. Most are seeing a large, seemingly bipedal and upright creature's head very close to the top of the building. While I do hope that's true (it seems like a cooler monster), I can't keep myself from noticing something a little different.

What I'm seeing looks a bit dragon-esque, and is hunched over with its head much closer to the ground. All that business around the top of the building seems more like a tail -- or perhaps smoke/mist.

I know a few others have seen things along these lines. Can't wait to get a little more confirmation when the higher quality trailers roll in.

Not saying anyone's opinion is wrong, and life revolves around opposing perspectives, but if JJ has made a dragon movie so soon after DW, and reign of fire, and eragon, and every other rip-off of Dragonslayer(only real dragon movie out there, at least till the Hobbit comes out) Then i will happily purchase a ticket, and a combo, and walk into the movie, find a seat in the middle and proceed to mess myself u ntil the entire theatre is unlivable. Because if i have to sit through two hours of shit, it will be by MY doing!!!!!!!!

I'll be here all week. Try the veal!

Seriously, though. Do we really need one more dragon movie right now. I know it's been pushed down to the point of extinction right now, but the idea of having a mythologically based creature ( Old ones, Kraken, Titans) would be far more palatable, and get me way revved up for a series.

Oh I am totally in agreement and hope (and to a degree, think) I'm wrong on this one. I'm just going on this little section of the trailer that's gotten so much attention...my issue is that I can't see any clear bipedal giant thing...only a slumped over semi-reptilian thing. Not terribly worried -- it's just speculation, and I can't imagine that they'd build so much suspense just to reveal a creature that's been done to death in giant-sized form.

I brightened up the scene and looped it. I'd bet that's Rob in the dark, left corner. He's turning to face whatever made the noise that's freaking out the girls. You can see his left arm swing as he turns toward the sound behind Hud, and you should be able to see the collar of his shirt. This scene should be perfectly clear with a full HD trailer. I've done what I could.

If I remember correctly from seeing it in the theater it is Rob. These crappy bootleg versions are causing way too much speculation because of the crappy resolution. Just go see it in the theater and you'll get a much better idea of what you're seeing (or not seeing) just my opinion Smile

If the latest word is true, then apple should have the trailer up tomorrow.

Hmmm. It's late, so without looking through all these posts, here's yet another, better quality trailer (at least that I've seen).

Eh, I think that's better framed and stable than most but not precisely 'better'.
It's got the whole duration, but the audio gain is atrociously high and the luminosity levels are just as bad as the first example we saw. I think this all goes to show why the professionals at filmmaking are paid so well. I know there's great amateurs out there too, but it would seem they aren't so excited about filming this trailer for us.

What I did notice that's curious about this copy is that the end credits are different than others we've seen. There's no actors named, and the title is not shown...
Wild thought here, but could this be a rehash of the first capture of the new trailer with the credits ripped off the teaser?
