 		when Hud falls and feet show Rob running towards it you can see marlena to the left, atleast it looks like her back. since Hud's later shown walking down the military tunnel with her < where she is looking pretty beat up, looks like he might not be dying so early on.

 		that was bloody amazing...

btw, about the exploding girl (i wanna reference heroes' 'How to Stop an Exploding Man'....), it looks like when they punched her wherever it was hard enough to push her back cause thats the reason it gets bigger, her body being thrown backwards and more towards the canvas or light

and yes he army dude is pixelated

Not everyone here is out to derail the forums. Guys, need to be a little more tolerant. 95% percent of the people here are just as excited about this as you. If someone brings something to the table that might help, at least wait for the other shoe to drop before you rip them down.

Nah, I snapped at the overused "Exclusive" comment. I shouldn't have nonchalantly grouped them, but after so many disappointments, it's hard to believe even the big boys when they say they have something new.

Man, JJA f'n hates the U.S. Nothing against the Britons and all, but where the HD version for us Yankees? At least theirs was a small version.

I still think it sucks that a site touting a 2-01-08 release date, the wrong actors, etc., got the new 1-18-08 trailer first. Plus, the CHUD guy who HATES JJA and Cloverfield gets to see it and report on it first. WTF is up with that? The world has gone insane.

Oh, and I suck. I can admit when I'm wrong. Embarassed

 		dude, something grows out of her body and that something has wings. this monster is insectile. the big sucker cant fly, but the little guys can (the buzzing in the streets, helicopter down).
i love how JJ also puts "rob i saw it its al-" again because of us.

For the last twenty five years, any film that may even resemble a potential hit has been marketed heavily here in the States, because we're gluttons for this stuff. We are the great consumer, and we take a huge portion of everything we can get our hands on. I think Bad Robot and Paramount just want to give the rest of the world a chance to get into the hype, and build a potential market in areas that are traditionally left flat.

Besides, who's going to be left to watch this thing after Jan 18th anyway?

 		Wow! That kicks ass!

When people were speculating about the monster behind the building, I didn't buy it, but this time - yeah, I def. think that's a wee glimpse of the thing moving behind the buildings (when the soldiers are unloading on it). Also, those shadows on the wall, of the possibly-hazmat-guys: definitely something unnatural going on there.

I didn't see the wings growing out of anyone's body though - where is that??

So, Rob's obviously trying to save Beth, who got separated for some reason. And, Lena, Lily, Hawk, Hud & Rob are all together (for some parts of it anyway).

No sightings, and no mention, of Jamie though. I suppose Jamie's present could be a plane ticket, and she's just out of town for the whole thing. But, why?

Maybe the character of Jamie Lascano was written, not for the movie, but for the ARG (...that's yet to be seen in full glory). From the opening text, it's probably a safe bet that none of the characters from the movie will survive - only the camera footage gets out. Maybe once the movie comes out, there will be more stuff to find out about Tagruato and how the whole thing happened, and Jamie - of all people - will be our main source for all that, through some kind of "help me figure out what happened" website... thing... ??

EDIT: This would fit with the fact that Jamie seems to be getting the most 'air time' online. Hers was the first myspace page we found, she accepted more friends than anyone else, and of course, the Jamie Loves Teddy videos.

EDIT: I keep forgetting about that damn picture on 1-18-08.com: Jamie is at the party. So, where the hell is she? WTF?!

Could tie in with the " Isshestillalive" thing Mel. But why would they try and connect the two so early on? Just spitballing.

Errm, that's because the movie is released here in the UK on the 1.02.08. The 1st of February. (we do our dates the other way around)

And you keep saying about where's "ours" etc...? Now correct me if I'm wrong, the beauty of the internet is anyone, anywhere in the world can see anything. Just because a UK site has the trailer first doesn't mean people in the US can't watch it, does it?

Now that was monumentally unfair. The guy with an insane bias against Abrams is one of the lucky few to see it before it's official release.
