The Text you guys are looking at on the second image clearly looks like "The Textile" something. There's another word above it. It's just the same building with two signs on it.

lol.

Please tell me thats slusho on its lips...

Wink

But seriously, it looks like a face to me. But that would mean it has some kind of bizarre THING coming off the back of its head... or that maybe it doesn't really have a neck.

Although in the other brightened picture in this threat, the thing we see moving behind the tower that we have all felt is the 'back of the head'... it looks like there is another one too the left of it slightly. Kind of like two fins/wings/accessories coming off of what could be the back.

Monster, with 4 legs.

pic of you-guessed it
My pic ^ is later on in the trailer than this one

forum stretching pic building/monster

and as I see it 2 of its legs are seen in this, the other leg is in the back higher, and its a turtle that can lift up to stand on 2 legs explains the bitch slapping of the SOL and turtles shell is wide which explains the lower sides of the buildings in the poster been crashed and not the top.

A different perspective
what I think is the head

First off, I've been reading off of this forum for a long time now. I started probably about a month after the trailer came out. I never posted anything because I never felt like I had anything pertinent to say. But after watching the trailer today, I felt like I had found something that no one else has really been talking about. When watching the trailer in HD and going frame by frame, instead of seeing what it seems many other people have been saying is an elbow or back of the neck of the monster, I saw the entire face of the monster. In the picture I posted I outlined the jawline. Just below that is the neck. And because everyone knows anatomy, by this theory you could also tell where the mouth is and eye. What I see is the monster turning it's head away from the camera, and what look like some sort of gils on the side of it's neck to the right of what I think looks like the jawline. Well, that's it. I stayed quiet for months now and just couldn't keep quiet on this one. Tell me what you think. Thanks!

The more I watch the trailer and flip back and forth through these frames, the more I think that there is something there (previously thought it was all smoke). First off, I just want to say that they (cameraman, editor, whoever) set up this shot perfectly so that we don't get any kind of good image. When the camera pans to the space between buildings it unfocuses. These few frames are when most of the movement of the monster is occurring, but there's no way to make anything out. Then the camera focuses, and the only thing I think is very clear is at the very top of the frame (and which many others have pointed out). Could be horn, could be a tentacle, could be some other appendage. Everything below that is smoke and the fallen building, IMO.

I'm fairly certain that all the differing outlines people are seeing in these few frames was intentional (someone previously mentioned cloud-watching, very appropriate I think). The designers of this trailer wanted to give a tiny tidbit of an image and let us all go wild over it. I highly doubt anything conclusive could be drawn from this trailer besides the monster being very very very large... which, again, is probably the intention.

Drat... I wonder if there's a way I could have thumbnailed my first pics... oh well.

Opinions of what I'm seeing are:

1) The top of the head has two ear-flap-horn things going back... I know I've seen this kind of style somewhere before, maybe on some baby dragon or gremlin-ish monster, or some kind of alien... I can't think of it, but maybe someone can find a picture of what I'm describing. Razz

2) I do NOT see a lower body in this picture... if you watch the clip, you can see that is CRUMBLING debris. That is why I pointed at it, just so people wouldn't be tracing (as people just did, and it always amazes me x_x) weird-ass shapes of stuff. The only moving thing we've seen is what would be the back of it's head. I don't see a shell, either.

3) I am quite positive that that's the back of it's head, because if that was anything else, the monster would be substantially bigger. The chunks taken out of the buildings on the official poster would definitely match up with the size of it, if that is its head.

@Mods: Can you help me make those images thumbnailed so people will want to click on them (instead of the ones with wacky outlines drawn all over them) Razz

..

I just think I found a part of it. As we all know It's Huge, so here it is.

Red lined area is a tail curled atm which moves a bit freely if u watch the trailer

Green is one back leg of it (like a dinosaur, Bending backwards, with huge muscles like in legs)

white/yellow is the lower back of the monster with a probable shell or something.

I like my weird ass outlines!!

But honestly, I doubt what I outlined is anything more than just shadows being greatly enhanced in that picture.

However, I DO THINK that the monster goes almost all the way down that picture. Look at some of the smaller or brighter lit pictures, and you see our greenish red monster friend goes almost all the way down to the bottom of the screen until you see what looks like a large piece of building laying on its side.

And yes... thumbnailed things would be nice so that we can still read this thread. heh.

I definitely think the monster is in the trailer twice.

When the jet is flying through the sky, pause it. Now look into the road. See that explosion? Then look behind that.

@Everything's Magic:
There is way too much smoke to begin trying to 'see' things there... Bad stuff happens when we try to look too close at things. (see: people getting carried away with slusho, seeing demons in hair, etc)
I also think it's there, hence the explosion and fighter-plane, but... I just don't think it's visible. At least, not to a point where we can make anything of it.

@Rhavin:
If you look at my original picture I posted, you can SEE pieces of the building falling slowly down... you can see it in the gif's in some other thread and also if you just pause the HD version and go back and forth with the time-bar over that general section... you can see the individual pieces of building, falling down, and smoke trailing them. I don't doubt that his lower half is behind all that, but I just don't know if it's worth getting anything wrong speculating whats visible of the lower half, when the upper half is right there.Very Happy
