Soo... the project I've been working on for 1.5 years finally launched this weekend, so I'm getting some time on my hands to start thinking about my trip, woohoo!

As an FYI, Joebrent is giving a concert with some others in The Tank on wednesday night, 5th of december (the day I arrive in NYC), linky. Everyone's invited to come as well and hang out with Joe and me and have a drink afterwards Smile

We will be getting together with Giskard and anyone who can make it. Location to be finalized on Wednesday.

Also, we will probably hang out on Thursday and Friday evenings as well, I will post where you can meet us. Smile

Giskard, as stated before, I'm in for whatever. I will be joining you and Joe on Wednesday night.

Unfortunately I cannot take off much time from work as I'm at the end of a major project Sad

but I'm available for lunch during the week, and I'll try to take off early Friday to be your personal tour guide for my magnificent city Very Happy

btw I work in Midtown, about a block away from Rockefeller Center (the huge Christmas tree, Top of the Rock, etc), oh and right next to Sam Ash, where Joe can show off his l337 guit4r sk1llz Razz

Hey everyone, just a quick note from the greater Boston area, where I've been spending a great couple of days touring the city with xnbomb (pics here if anyone's interested). This will be my last day here, we've some more fun stuff planned for today and will be meeting with Gupfee later on.

I'll fly out to NYC tomorrow, if the weather lets me that is, but it looks ok for now Smile

Omnie: it would be awesome if you could come on saturday. You're pretty much the last of the crowd of MU-fanatics I haven't met yet Smile

As I understand it, Rose has been rattling the crowds to come join us on on saturday and quite some people might actually make it!

Bagsbee: that's really awesome! I'd love the friday tour, rose is probably coming along with me on friday as well, it'll be fun!

I hope to see you all later this week!

So, Thursday I planned on taking Giskard to the Top of the Rock (highly underrated, by the way -- less pricey than the observation deck at the Empire State, and a better view imho), so Bags, since you work there you wanna meet us for lunch?

Also, you're coming to the concert Wed night, or meeting us after? It's at 7 at the Tank, you probably know the details already but if not you have my cell #.

SATURDAY

We decided to meet at 6:30 or so at the bar/restaurant. We'll probably be there until about 7:30 and then leave for dinner.

Most of us (including Sin Vraal, Aliendial and EGo) have been there at one time or another. We decided to meet there as it is familiar to everyone, and then go to dinner at a different place.

The more the merrier, so join us!!!
