Now I get it. Look at it it closely.

IT'S A WHALE'S HEAD ON A DINOSAUR'S BODY.

The whale upper part washed up on shore earlier and everyone thought it was a beached whale...

UNTIL IT STARTED WALKING ON TWO LEGS!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

IT'S ALIVE, ITS HUGE!!!

Hey, everybody, first-time poster! javascript:emoticon('Very Happy')

I'm really surprised nobody has suggested this before, but to me it looks like the monster is moving backwards and that the "legs" are actually its arms. That's why it looks kinda awkward.

Now that I think about it, looking at it like this makes it look like a Spinosaurus, although that would obviously not be nearly big enough.

Plus, if those were its legs I doubt they would be big/strong enough to support the weight.

yeh and the 2 "legs" you see in the trailer look so small to the rest you see of the monster that it seems weird how it can move so softly... so i think those are its arms

Wow... that gif not only makes me doubt that what I circled with my opening post was the head, but it definitely showed that there are legs, and that the body is indeed massive. I think if this thing stood up, it'd easily tower over these buildings.

And no, it doesn't look anything like Dougbot's second sketch - the body would be dragging along the ground, and the leg you see doesn't match the picture of the animal... and I'm kind of wondering what that thing resembling a vagina is doing on that picture. Shocked ...eww...

But yeah... anyway... it is a lot bigger than I thought... that part of the 'head' I saw earlier now looks like its shoulder, and its back might extend into the darkness where we can't see.

its not a leg... it feels like its the claws seen on dougbots sketch... just look how it moves.... it looks SO massive and how is it supposed to walk with those thin legs?

btw the "Vagina" are the parasites is carrying around... you know ? they chosed the monster as a host... like normal whales have (: maybe they spread the infection... if they excist... its just a sketch -.- but its what i see in the monster now... not exactly but pretty close to it Smile

I'm telling you, in the video I can see huge sperm whale's head on a heavily muscled dinosaur body. I base this theory on three facts.

1. Google "prehistoric whale". Many scientists believe that whales are descended from creatures that walked on land. You can only imagine how huge those things must have been.

2. A whale type creature fits in with the Slusho mythology.

3. The monster's roar is similar to the sounds that whales make.

rjharris1960, the animals that whales descended from where actually not very big, and they looked kinda like dogs. Not a big deal, just thought I'd let you know. Google Ambulocetus. (Paleobiology is kinda my thing)

gigantis2001 - that's true but this is a giant monster for movie. Name one monster movie besides Jurrasic Park where the creatures are historically accurate.

Whatever, it looks like a hybrid dinosaur/whale to me.
