I dont doubt that. Its just there are two unlit lights in the center which I would assume be lit when telling the time. The fact that those aren't lit in the cloverfield picture makes me think that its not the time, but a number.

Though obviously I dont live in New york, so i could be wrong. Do those center lights ever light up?

 		I'm in class, so I can't screen cap this, but theres a shot of about a hundred people in front of a bridge, and a huge bright light in the sky growing and enveloping them. wtf is that?

Probably a helicopter hovering over the Brooklyn Bridge.

Look at the numbers on the copter. 402. 4+0+2= 6.... as in "you cant drink just 6", or the 6 flavors...
not that it means anything, just a fun easter egg. I think we had a whole list of things that are six, right?

Okay, maybe not terribly interesting, but I just noticed this:



Actually caught it while frame-by-framing through the poor quality versions of the trailer. Now that the HD version is out, I'm catching it in two spots.

Apparently the medics (or whatever you would call them) use some sort of small instrument to administer *something* to the infected people. Probably will end up being mildly important, as I doubt it'll end up being something as innocent as oxygen or what have you.

 		About the hallway scene:

Yeah, I'm now inclined to believe that's Lil in the lead, too. That blown-up shot looks very much like stockinged feet -- i.e., Lil has taken off her high heels. Rob helps the wounded Beth down; Hud trails (far) behind (is he already injured from the fall in the stairwell at Rob's apt building in the teaser? might explain why he gets left behind in the subway sequence) and films.

About the Brooklyn Bridge scene:

This is starting to sound more and more like a straight ripoff of "I Am Legend." Remember the scene in the trailer where the air force shoots down the Brooklyn (and presumably, all other borough bridges) to isolate Manhattan? Maybe it's the helicopter(s) that are shooting down the Brooklyn Bridge in the "Cloverfield" trailer, too.

About the Watchtower (erroneous) time:

Either this movie is already cruising towards Razzie of the Year for editing mistakes, or else the time/temp/other errors are deliberate. I already posted my theories about that long ago, so I won't get into *that* again.

As you can see, it's a giant metallic fire-breathing snake with big-eyes.

Now we now the face of the monster.

Good idea mjames, but I'm reasonably sure that most of the auto-updating clocks that banks use operate much like atomic clocks: if they lose the auto-updating signal, they'll function just like any other clock with less than perfect accuracy. They would however lose the temperature function.

However, most of these large billboard-type clocks are linked to a computer which controls the output. If said connection was lost, the clock might stop at a given time. Maybe the monster's arrival is linked with an EMP blast, in turn resetting the Watchtower's computer systems? Or maybe that's the event that begins the National Guard's mobilization, in preparation for the monster's arrival?

I did a whois earlier for the site, no positive returns (god I make this sound like science ). Also a key difference in this would be that some charcters don't show up in "Normal" font sequences. I used a web translator on the whole page. Not an IG tendency, and would mean we'd have to expand our search not just to english pages but to all japanese (and possibly Norwegian or wherever Teddy was). I'd say OOG

I don't think they'd go for that as it would drastically backfire (as being a major rip of a nother big upcoming film). I personally believe the Brooklyn Bridge is being demolished by the monster, especially with the deck bucking upwards as part of the tower collapses.

There's also doesn't appear to be any major explosions. it resembles how it was damaged in Godzilla more then I Am Legend.

I'd at least like to think they wouldn't just have the army blowing up the bridge seeing as how they appear to be trying to help get people out of the city.
