[SPEC]Rob in the New Trailer vs. the new Promo pics
Anyone else notice this??

Hey there everyone! I'd like to start out by saying that I'm a long time lurker and this is my first post. You guys have been doing an amazing job, and between Dennis' blog, UF is the only place I go to for Cloverfield news. I've done the ol' search function to see if anyone else has talked about this, and so far I've found nothing...I've been looking at the promo pics and the screen captures from the new trailer, and to me it seems that Rob has shaved and changed clothes in the midst of a giant monster attack.

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but in the trailer, Rob has a scruffy unshaven thing going on and is wearing a suit and tie with a
striped shirt. Many of the promo pics show Rob wearing a solid grey(or white depending on the amount of dust) shirt. I know that in many of the pictures that seem to be from later in the movie show him in a dirty t-shirt, that's not what I'm talking about. Look at the buttoned shirt Rob is wearing, they're clearly different. Not only that, but in the brighter promo pics from the subway, Rob looks to be totally clean shaved!!

This, to me, means one of two things...Either the promo pics were taken a while ago and Rob's actor grew out his scruff...or this whole "attack" takes place over multiple days.

There's one scene in the new trailer that looks like a bunch of people just milling around, one guy is even taking pictures. Seems like a pretty calm moment during a giant monster rampage. Perhaps the suspected title "Overnight" was just a form of misdirection...maybe the attack lasts several days? That or it's just continuity errors...with all the strange "9:56" in the trailer and the weather...JJ might just be getting lazy. Or maybe Rob is just very vein and needs to put on new clothes and get shaved...perhaps the monster really IS Jamie and he's trying to woo her? I mean, you guys are starting to see vaginas on this thing...

Anyway, sorry for the long first post. I'm also sorry if this has been discussed before. I'm also sorry if it's a weird thing to notice, and it has no true relevance. If this has been posted before, I'd appreciate a link to the thread!

Also, I wish I new how to post pictures in a thread. It would help me to show my point, if any of you notice this too and have pictures, I'd be happy if you posted them here. Thanks!
