Sorry, didn't mean that to seem like a bash. My comment was not intended in that way at all. I think its cool that you got folks to undergo some hardship, etc. Certainly makes for a more memorable and exciting event/game.

It's important that games push the edge and explore the boundaries of immersion. In doing so, it is also inevitable that an untoward event will eventually occur. Someone will get hurt or damaged, or the authorities will misconstrue an event at some point. Perhaps this is even more likely in today's terrorism paranoid state. Just look at D&D, or Assasin from the past, and the recent brouhaha over an MIT undergrad's electronic jewelry in Boston.

If some planning hasn't yet occurred, it might be a good idea for the collective to do some thinking about how to respond to such an occurrence.
