 		[SPEC]So what happened to Central Park
Posted the question in a diff thread but its a dead thread.

If the central park area is now FORMERLY known as such, what happened to destroy it completely. We still call the area where the WTC stood the WTC complex and hiroshima is still hiroshima. So why the change? Why refer it to formerly known as. I understand its military speak and they just attached their code to it, but the "formerly known" portion just stands out.


Did they nuke it? did the monster get contained there? Is it now a military site? Airstrikes were called in on the city streets so its possible that they went to something "stronger" as a last resort.

Am I digging too deep or thrown off course?

 		Does there really need to be 800 different spec threads. Speculation about something this vague is kinda pointless. Not to mention i've already seen ones about this.

 		I think the monster ker-splinked it. Central Park as we know it simply isn't there anymore.

However, there is no real way to know save by watching the movie.
